Our B&B is a few metres from local beaches and lido facilities ('Spiaggia di Praia a Mare'...) in an area of great archaeological and architectural merit, quiet, for enjoying a stunning panorama, in the old city centre. Our breakfast is served to guests in public areas or on the balcony of foto. Usually serve milk, coffee, tea, barley, decaffeinated, fruit and juices mixed. Accompany the breakfast of croissants good pastry, biscuits, bread, donuts and homemade pies, as well as the delicious "tarallini aniseed mountain" that when heated, give all their fragance. Usual we also bring a good basket of fruit and yogurt, honey and jams.

Back to the B&B Al Vecchio Pioppo after 7-8 years, I find it changed and especially improved. Excellent breakfast room on the ground floor. I finally try the yellow room and I must say it was worth it and I have promised myself to come back at least once a year even for just a weekend. Thank you Gaetano and Antonella!

We stayed at Al Vecchio Pioppo last week for two nights and we had a great time, just like at home. The hosts (Gaetano and Antonella) were exquisite, really down to earth. Very beautiful location, we had the Orange one in the attic, but above all it is located in a central point to all places like Maratea, San Nicola Arcella, etc. We will definitely come back. Breakfast ok with freshly baked croissants of various flavors to choose from.

Really nice and very clean structure, equipped with all comforts, very well located, close to the train station and 100 meters from the beach. The city is charming and I can say the same about the owners, Antonella and Gaetano, very attentive and caring; they made us feel at home and, at our request, prepared a very tasty dinner for us, I have never eaten such good eggplants, I guarantee it! We visited San Nicola Arcella and Maratea, famous for the Christ the Redeemer overlooking all the villages of the Gulf of Policastro, but a weekend is too short to get to know this piece of Italy, that's why we have already booked for the month of July, when we will tour the island by boat, with Gaetano. So, it's really time to say: thank you for everything and see you soon!
