Clean, welcoming, strategic location to move freely and reach not only Villa Del Sole but also other locations nearby like Bari, Alberobello or Polignano. The managers are very kind and helpful. Excellent rating!

Great apartment on the first floor, well furnished and very clean, less than 10 minutes by car from the center, very convenient internal parking. Definitely recommended for visiting the beautiful Villa Del Sole.

We stayed in Matera for 3 days; beautiful city, which I will recommend to all my friends. I will also recommend the 'Villa Del Sole' property because it satisfied us 100%. Beautiful house with new furnishings, spacious and bright rooms. You can park the car in the courtyard of the house, fenced and closed by a gate. It is located in a perfect position for those traveling by car, just 5 minutes from the center by car. The owners were kind and very helpful in meeting our needs! I think the quality-price ratio is almost unbeatable in the area! I will definitely recommend it! Congratulations to the owners.

The structure is very comfortable, with a few minutes by car you easily reach the most important points of the city. The owners are very kind and provide the tourist with all the necessary information. Excellent cleanliness, fair prices, I highly recommend it to all those looking for holiday homes in Matera. The structure is beautiful but is not suitable for two couples because it does not leave any privacy. The management leaves much to be desired and was not correct towards us, we felt taken for a ride. We had asked for 2 rooms, each with its own bathroom, but we found ourselves facing a kind of antechamber with a bed followed by another room and a single bathroom to share! One of the two couples had to pass through the other's room to exit! The manager tried to downplay the situation as if it were normal for 4 adults to be accommodated like a family consisting of parents and two small children! Also, we did not feel welcomed because they told us that check-out was by 10 (normally check-out is at least from 11 onwards) saying that the structure was occupied but it seemed like an excuse to us because it was available for booking the next day. We had to insist to leave by 11. They need to improve the sense of hospitality towards the guest. Otherwise, the structure is new, it is located in an area with a beautiful view of the countryside but at the same time is close to the city. We do not recommend the structure if you are 4.

Ciao Antonella, mi dispiace che non siamo riusciti a soddisfare le vostre esigenze. Comunque in un primo momento ci avete prenotato per sole 2 persone e poi ci avete disdetto la prenotazione, poi nella mattinata del giorno di arrivo, avete ripiegato voi chiedendoci se potevamo ospitare 4 persone e così ho allestito 2 camere di tutto rispetto con 2 letti matrimoniali. Quando siete arrivati, ho visto che non vi piaceva la sistemazione, e vi ho comunque chiesto se volevate rimanere oppure no, dato che ancora non avevate pagato nulla. Voi avete scelto di rimanere. Senza prendere in giro nessuno, io ho cercato di spiegarvi che la mia è una casa vacanze con un solo bagno, e non un B&B con stanze aventi il bagno in camera. Tutto ciò è ben specificato in tutti i siti web nonché in questo di B&B. it, lo stesso dicasi per il check-in e il check-out, ben visibili nella voce condizioni del sito che sono rispettivamente: dalle 14: 00 in poi il check-in, ed entro le ore 10: 00 del giorno successivo il check- out. Mi dispiace ancora, ma se ci sono delle regole vanno rispettate e comunque vi ho dato la possibilità di rimanere fino alle 11: 00 del giorno successivo. Io cerco di mettermi a completa disposizione dei miei ospiti e forse in questa occasione ci sono stati dei malintesi. Se vi capita di ritornare a Matera io e mia moglie saremo sempre lieti di accogliervi. Pasquale e Grazia.

New, clean structure with all the essential comforts. Not centrally located, but with a 10-minute drive you can reach a convenient parking lot near the historic center and the paths to the 'sassi'.

We stayed with two Spanish friends for four days in August 2016. Excellent, new, clean and welcoming structure. The owners are courteous and helpful. I recommend this structure to those who need to visit Matera. Carla and Andrea (Siena).
