This is a beautiful place. Maria, Rafael and Leonardo make you feel like part of the family. The location is close to beaches and two quality restaurants that we both found exceptional, all reachable on foot after about 500 metres of steep walking downhill and uphill. Then, new wondrous towns and beaches are only 15 minutes by car. A magnificent experience made even better by the hosts. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of staying at La Giara in Maratea, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, offering beautiful views of the sea and mountains. The room was spotless, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Every morning started with a delicious homemade breakfast served on the terrace, with local products and coffee/ tea. This is the perfect place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the beauty of Southern Italy. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity, tranquility, and genuine hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation run by an incredibly warm and caring Italian family. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The welcome is family-like, authentic, and full of generosity. They really take care of you from start to finish. The place is simply magnificent: quiet, well-kept, with a stunning view, and located very close to the sea. It is the ideal spot to relax, enjoy the charm of southern Italy, and have a true local experience. I recommend it 100% and I will return without hesitation!

Our stay at La Giara was very pleasant. The owners, Maria, Raffaele and their nephew Leonardo, are very kind and friendly; they told us many anecdotes and gave advice in the morning during breakfast. The room was spacious and very clean, with a small refrigerator useful for keeping water cool. The air conditioner worked, although the remote control sometimes did not cooperate (if you have problems, feel free to ask the owner). There is also a small pool available, very useful for a short break from the sea. The location is also excellent, close to a restaurant and a couple of beaches.

The real B&B where people welcome you into their home and not a PIN code to pick up the key. Maria, Raffaele and Leonardo are the strengths of the property: kind, caring and full of attention toward all their guests, from arrival and throughout the stay. Breakfast is a ritual of jams in various flavors, to guess, prepared by Raffaele, pastries made by Maria, fruit, curiosities, stories, and Leonardo's friendliness and kindness. The cleanliness of the rooms is another asset of this property. The technical aspects of the air conditioning could be slightly improved. Trains pass at a short distance, but you still rest well. Overall, more than satisfied. We recommend it to those who appreciate these characteristics.

A week of absolute relaxation. We were welcomed like family by Mr. Raffaele, Mrs. Maria and their nephew Leonardo. The property is a small oasis, 800 meters (two minutes by car) from Acquafredda beach. From the room the view of the sea (bay) was wonderful and, before going down to the beach, we enjoyed a plentiful but above all high-quality breakfast, with natural homemade products (croissants, tarts, cakes, jams, honey, fresh fruit, kefir) and every extra request was fulfilled. The room was comfortable, with a small minibar much appreciated. I would like to thank them once again for the delightful holiday.

Well-positioned property, considering the characteristics of the area. Good chance to reach the Acquafredda beach on foot as well. Very kind and helpful managers and staff. Very quiet and well-kept property. Recommended.

Very pleasant one-week stay in August. Pleasant structure, comfortable room equipped with an outdoor space with sofas, umbrella, and very useful clothesline for a beach holiday. The structure also has a very popular relaxation area for my son thanks to the pool. Special thanks to Maria, Veronica, and Raffaele for their friendliness and availability and for the rich breakfasts with homemade cakes and jams. Highly recommended!

Here for one night on the way for a motorcycle tour. Pleasant, clean and welcoming structure. Excellent hospitality and kindness of the hosts, Maria and Raffaele, and daughter-in-law Veronica. Breakfast not very abundant but all fresh. Excellent scrambled eggs by Raffaele and Maria's little cakes. Veronica extremely courteous and polite. No luxury but comfortable.

It has been years now that I choose to stay in a bed and breakfast when I travel. I choose them carefully, often giving more importance to hospitality than to comfort. This adventure in the Lucanian land ends here. Today I say goodbye to these two splendid hosts, Raffaele and Maria, who welcomed me as one of the family, pampering me with their strictly homemade cakes and with the products of their land, figs ricotta, hazelnuts. I will especially miss our chats, your stories, the view of the sea from what, even if for a few days, was my little terrace. This is how you made me feel, as if all of this were a bit mine too. Thank you for everything. We will meet again soon.

Cozy, well-kept and clean place, the owners are very kind people who welcomed us and pampered us as if we were family. The property is well located, close to the most beautiful beaches and a few minutes by car from Maratea and other tourist sites, so I can only recommend this B&B to spend a week of relaxation among nature, good food and culture. Rating 10!

The structure is located in a panoramic position, 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Acquafredda. The uphill path back from the beach is a bit tiring, but the view from the terrace of the B&B is very beautiful. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are very welcoming, air-conditioned, and very clean. Recommended for a relaxing vacation.
