Incredible cave house with the most amazing view of Matera. The host was extremely friendly and very helpful with tips on what to do in Matera. We were welcomed with homemade cakes and traditional bread; I can only say wow. The terrace is absolutely stunning, very spacious and with an incredible view. The house is immaculately clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom is beautiful and very unique with LED lights. We were absolutely blown away by our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The host left us a fully stocked fridge, including a bottle of wine. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Gianfranco is a perfect host. He helped us with garage booking and took us from and back to the parking garage. The quality of the breakfast was very good. The house has probably the best view in Matera. The house and sauna were wonderful and the view from the terrace was magical. Thanks Gianfranco for making our stay a memorable one.

Beautiful apartment in an amazing location! The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. Communication was clear and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay very special. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera.

The property is lovely and comfortable, well appointed. The only drawback is that it is not a two bedroom situation as advertised. There’s a pull out couch in the living room. The living room is not completely separate from the bedroom and bathroom. It’s perfect for one couple, not more.

Il soggiorno, come specificato, non è completamente separato dalla zona notte, e per questo consigliamo la casa principalmente a chi cerca un ambiente intimo e accogliente. Leggere quel 10 alla pulizia e all’accoglienza mi scalda il cuore: per me farvi sentire coccolati e a casa è la priorità assoluta, e sapere di esserci riuscito è la soddisfazione più grande. Mi è dispiaciuto un po' vedere quel voto sulla posizione, ma ti capisco bene! Vivere nel cuore dei Sassi è un’esperienza magica, anche se ammetto che i nostri vicoletti e le salite sanno essere una piccola sfida per le gambe. Spero però che la pace e la vista mozzafiato dal terrazzino abbiano ripagato ampiamente ogni passo fatto!
