In the suite you will find everything you need to prepare your morning at your own pace, freely choosing the best moment to enjoy sweet and savoury flavours. The heart of our breakfast is the homemade cake, prepared according to tradition. For those who wish to discover the authentic flavours of our land, the Pane di Matera IGP cannot be missed, a symbol of Lucanian gastronomic culture, to be enjoyed as a traditional bruschetta with fresh tomato, just as the old rural custom dictates. The real added value? Freedom. There are no set times: you can prepare your tray independently and choose to enjoy it comfortably on the suite’s little terrace, surrounded by the extraordinary panoramic view of the Sassi di Matera. It will be your special moment, immersed in the silence of the ancient city, in the morning light that illuminates the Murgia Materana, and in the unique atmosphere of a place with thousands of years of history. Note for the winter period (January – March) During the low season, from January to March, the house follows a quieter rhythm. During this period, breakfast is offered with a dedicated selection that may not include some seasonal fresh products such as the homemade cake, the Pane di Matera IGP, fresh tomatoes, the welcome bottle of wine, or other perishable items kept in the refrigerator. You will still find a selection of breakfast products and the essentials to start the day pleasantly in your cave house in the heart of the Sassi of Matera.
