If you want to visit the Pollino National Park and are looking for a place to stay, the Room & Breakfast Affittacamere "Il Pettirosso" is ideal. We are in Rotonda (Pz), along one of the access roads to the heart of the largest protected area in Italy in the southern Calabrian-Lucanian Apennines.

Located in Contrada San Lorenzo, the last outpost inhabited before the heights of the Pollino National Park, it offers you the possibility of an immediate approach with what this enchanting naturalistic space offers its visitors.

Walking only five kilometers on the road, it is possible to reach Piano Pedarreto, situated at over 1200 meters high, an ideal point for walks in the green of the Pollino woods and, in winter, for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. From here interesting itineraries depart to reach the most suggestive points of the Pollino National Park and its peculiarities such as the exclusive Pini Loricati.

Staying at the r & b landlord the robin in the heart of the pollino park will be an unforgettable experience !!!!!

The rooms of the Room & Breakfast Affittacamere "Il Pettirosso" have been recently renovated. We have created welcoming, discreet and simple rooms; each room has a toilet for exclusive use and a TV set, Wi-Fi. Our accommodation also has a furnished breakfast room where you can enjoy the culinary delights of the Pollino National Park, often accompanied by Grandma Rosa's desserts, and a space for breakfast which, in summer, allows visitors to eat and relax outdoors. All in the name of discretion and courtesy, features that distinguish our people.

We stayed only one night…but we will definitely return! Sergio's hospitality is truly commendable. The property is new, the decor is very well cared for, the beds are comfortable: everything is perfectly clean. The mountain view is worth it: peace and silence reign. The breakfast satisfies all palates and is abundant: if you want something that Sergio hasn’t thought of, it is promptly served to you. The location is excellent for reaching the hiking spots in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We stayed for 3 nights at Pettirosso. We had a great time. Sergio was very kind, the breakfast was abundant, the structure was beautiful, and the beds were comfortable. Then the Pollino is very beautiful. I highly recommend it.

Excellent stay in a new and very well-kept structure in terms of decor details and impeccable cleanliness, with breakfast for every sweet/savory palate. From the terrace, an enchanting mountain panorama unfolds, dominated by nature and silence. The location is excellent for reaching both the nearby Rotonda and the Piano Ruggio from which several hiking trails start. Sergio's hospitality was superb. An experience to be repeated. Highly recommended.

Sergio is a precise and attentive host with whom it is a pleasure to chat. He can give you all the right advice for visiting the area. The accommodation is very convenient for visiting the Pollino Park, recently renovated with absolute care in every detail. The rooms and the bathroom are generous in space. The breakfast is abundant with homemade donuts and pies. In short, a place where you feel welcomed and want to return with pleasure!

For those seeking tranquility without being far from the town center, this B&B Il Pettirosso is an excellent compromise. The structure is new, quiet, the cleanliness impeccable, and the guest truly feels at home. The rooms have the right proportions and a beautiful terrace available to guests will allow you to enjoy the sun and clean morning air or the beauty of the sunset in total serenity. The facility has Wi-Fi and offers a very good breakfast, complete with homemade pastries. For gluten-free or lactose-free solutions, just ask Sergio or Francesca who will support you in every possible way! There is no refrigerator in the rooms, but if you need to keep something cool, you will find one in the shared kitchen. I would like to point out, for people with disabilities, the presence of stairs inside the structure. Personally, I will be very happy to return!

Great B&B located a few kilometers from Rotonda, surrounded by nature in a very quiet area. The manager, Sergio, welcomed us to his property illustrating all the activities in the area (museums, nature trails, points of interest) advising us on how to move around. We had the pleasure of enjoying a great, abundant breakfast in the cool of the pergola, enjoying the view of the Pollino. Also available for customers are sun loungers from which to sunbathe and relax while admiring the panorama.
