Tre Trulli

We had a wonderful stay at Apartment FOCO at Tre Trulli and can wholeheartedly recommend Luca’s property. Our host, Luca, was incredibly attentive, warm and welcoming. Although he lives on the property himself, his presence was never intrusive — quite the opposite. He was always available to help, including via WhatsApp, and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, beaches and places to visit. We especially appreciated his suggestions off the usual tourist paths: authentic, reasonably priced places that allowed us to experience Puglia as a region rather than simply as tourists. The FOCO apartment itself is brand new, beautifully designed and furnished with great attention to detail. It is fully equipped and great for cooking, with an induction stove, a large refrigerator and a microwave. The locally sourced tableware with typical Apulian patterns, beautiful tiles and colorful interiors gave the apartment a wonderful sense of place. Our absolute highlight was the large private terrace overlooking the olive groves. It was the perfect place to sit in the shade in the morning and enjoy the peace and quiet. We also loved the outdoor shower. In the evening, the whole property was beautifully lit, creating a very special and relaxing atmosphere. The location is both peaceful and very convenient, with Alberobello only about 5–7 minutes away by car. In the small neighboring village there is also a tiny but surprisingly well-stocked mini-market, as well as an excellent bakery offering fresh pasta — both very convenient for everyday needs. We stayed at the end of July and were very lucky with the weather. As we happened to be the only guests during our stay, it almost felt as though we had the entire property to ourselves. There are two other apartments, so we cannot say how the atmosphere would be when the property is fully occupied. The only small point to mention is that there is no swimming pool. On particularly hot days, and given the distance to the sea, a pool would certainly have been a lovely addition. Nevertheless, this did not diminish our experience at all. A big thank you to Luca and his family for such a wonderful stay and their genuine hospitality. We would happily return and can highly recommend Tre Trulli and Apartment FOCO to anyone looking to experience Puglia in an authentic, peaceful and beautifully designed setting.
