For those unfamiliar with the genre, Signuria Dimora Esclusiva is similar to a hotel in that guests occupy several rooms in the building, but unlike a hotel in that there is no staff to assist you. You are given a contact number to text before you arrive, and that person comes to the location to let you in and show you to your room--but you will not see that person again, nor anyone else affiliated with the facility except the overworked woman who assembles a very uninspiring breakfast upstairs in the morning. We were given a single entry key card for two travelers, which was problematic in itself since we had different schedules and had to coordinate arrivals and departures; even worse, the card we were given was very unreliable, and did not readily open either the entry door or the room door. The room features a glassed-in shower surround, which may be fine for those who are untroubled being seen while showering, but less acceptable for the self-conscious, the shy, or not-yet-close friends traveling together. While of a decent size, the room is dominated by a king-sized bed, which leaves little room for maneuvering. Even worse, the room we stayed in (which may not apply to others) had very few flat surfaces, meaning there was nowhere to put one's belongings. Having an electric kettle for tea or coffee was nice, but there was nowhere to plug it in other than in the bathroom, and even that required the cord to be stretched precariously across the sink. The idea of this place is good, but the practicalities still have a number of kinks to work out.

Very pleasant. The person taking care of the reception and breakfast is very nice. Contact with the owner before arrival. Beautiful setting in the heart of the city. Simple but good breakfast served in the top floor room, calm atmosphere and very pleasant service.

We encountered several issues during our stay in the apartment: – hairdryer not working – toilet flush needed to be pressed multiple times before it stopped running – rain shower head on the ceiling installed too low (1.70 m) – bathroom sink clogged in one of the rooms – mold on a bathroom wall – dirty floor, with many long hairs found throughout the apartment – one of the nightstand shelves was broken – door handle of one room was broken (impossible to open from outside unless someone was inside) – building's wastewater drainage runs through a pipe in the room: water can be clearly heard flowing – dirty kitchen fronts and walls – curtains falling off in one of the rooms – card system for the room lights not working: a night light stays on all night I’m very disappointed with the service, especially considering the nightly rate (€150). In light of the situation, I would like to request a partial refund of €50. Would you be willing to offer a gesture of goodwill? Looking forward to your kind response.

Spacious and comfortable room. There are no coffee and tea supplies in the room and no water offered upon arrival. Breakfast should be served as a buffet.

Lucas, Katia, and the team are very welcoming and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation is fantastic, with a lot of character, in the heart of the city, hard to beat! We highly recommend.

Everything was truly beautiful and pleasant. A magnificent terrace for breakfast.

Ancient structure, tastefully renovated, well located in the historic center. Courtesy of the staff and responsiveness of the owner. Good value for money. Recommended. I would return without hesitation.

New and clean establishment, excellent location.

Very nice apartment and well located in the historic center. Too bad breakfast was not included. Everything else was fine!

I returned to this property after a couple of years because it has an excellent location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff.

The room with the double bed is a bit tight. The location is optimal, just steps from the center. The breakfast is rather meager.

The structure is in excellent condition, in the city center, so perfect for visiting the city (beautiful!), quiet, the manager (Luca) is kind and available to provide information to facilitate the stay (for example, providing the map, suggesting the most interesting places to visit, and indicating good restaurants); good breakfast on a beautiful panoramic terrace with warm Pasticciotti; the lady in charge of breakfast, whose name I unfortunately do not remember, is also very kind, smiling, and available to provide directions as well as to exchange a few words.

I brought a group of friends who came from Mexico and, apart from the location, there are many things neglected by the structure. We booked four rooms and the apartment. We arrived and two rooms had curtains that had come undone. In another room that had the shower facing the street, the small window had fallen and there was a cardboard to replace it. The headboard of a bed had peeling leather. The floor of the apartment was a bit dirty, the kitchen utensils were old and blackened, and one chair had a loose leg and one of the guests fell (luckily nothing serious). The breakfast was simple although the lady in charge was always kind and welcoming. The shower splashed everywhere and in the apartment the drain was clogged. Perhaps the location gives it points because it is in the heart of Lecce, but I must admit that it is quite neglected.

Excellent and spectacular structure, restored in accordance with the architecture of the Lecce Baroque. Located in the historic center, with the possibility of easily exploring the town. Remember the location in the ZTL area. Compliments to the availability of the manager Mr. Luca and his collaborators (Anna Maria). Thank you.

Structure located in an excellent position in the historic center of Lecce. Expectations were partially disappointed, the photos of the structure not properly in line with reality. Absence of products inside the bathroom (shampoo - shower gel - shower cap). It was necessary to reach the structure on foot as it is located in a ZTL area. Structure lacks a garage not even in agreement.

Great location, good breakfast. Good organization.

Frankly, over 500 euros for 2 days... Maintenance issues (toilet seat and more). Poor reception. Poor breakfast. The staff is kind though.

It is in the historical center of Lecce, beautiful clean and the managers are helpful and friendly. I recommend it.

Two couples from Rome to visit Lecce for the first time and we stayed at the B&B Signuria Dimora Esclusiva. What to say? Fantastic! Strategic location in the historic center and Luca, the manager, is a lovely and kind person. We will come back!

Signuria is a Bad & Breakfast very cozy, right in the historic center and the renovation of this ancient house was very pleasant. The rooms are very quiet and clean. Luca is always there to respond to requests. There is also a pleasant terrace adjacent to the breakfast room.

Very nice and affordable. Breakfast just ok, but very kind staff. Could improve the kitchen upstairs. Overall a good experience.

We had a great time. The welcome, breakfast, and the location in relation to the center were excellent. Luca is a wonderful, helpful, and friendly person who met all our requests. The lady in charge of breakfast was also very good and very kind. It is a place to definitely return to.

Recommended structure for excellent hospitality and exceptional location.

I can define it as a true gem, the result of a skillful and extremely accurate restructuring of the spaces that has preserved valuable architectural elements. The room and the bathroom are spacious, very comfortable, and with beautiful furnishing solutions. Special mention to the perfect welcome of the host Luca.

The small terrace for breakfast is very neglected, and breakfast is served on very small and crowded tables in a busy area. The brioches are all pre-cooked and frozen. When I asked for a tea with lemon, I was offered a slice of orange. The service also lacks professionalism.

Comfortable and cute apartment.

Brand new facility, just a few steps from the main street. Extremely friendly staff, very large room. Congratulations for everything, from breakfast to cleanliness. A special mention to Luca, to the ladies Annamaria and Milena.

The hotel is very well located. The furniture is good and modern. The room and bathroom are clean. The staff is friendly. The only downside is the towels and bathrobes, which are too old.

We found a cockroach, it would be appropriate to put a screen on the large window. There is a lot of humidity in the corner with mold.

Great location and modern room.

Spacious and welcoming apartment, we had a great time!

Everything perfect.

We stayed here for our weekend in Lecce and we couldn't ask for more! Beautiful structure, a blend of ancient and modern, clean and very quiet. Perfect location to visit Lecce, secure parking just a few steps away and a good breakfast served by the sweet Eleonora! The owner was extremely helpful.
