Lovely property in a great location. There are a lot of steps to get to the apartment, so take that into consideration. The host is responsive if I have questions or concerns. The breakfast is wonderful.

Fabulous stay at this charming old house. We had our own private outdoor dining area and sun loungers. Nice cool room, lovely bathroom and useful kitchenette. Very comfortable. Fabulous breakfasts delivered to our door. Great views and central location. Private parking nearby. Elisabetta was a gracious and welcoming host. Would definitely revisit and recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment, which was very central but so quiet. The room was a good size with a small kitchenette and a comfy bed. The only improvement would have been a blind or something similar to cover the kitchen window, as the shutter was fixed open and the morning light streamed in and bounced off the refrigerator into our eyes. The outdoor space was amazing - three different areas for sitting with plenty of comfortable furniture and shade. The shower was a little small but there was plenty of hot water. Elisabetta was a fantastic host - always responded very quickly to any questions and very helpful in recommending restaurants and allowing us a late check out as our flight wasn’t until late in the evening. Lastly, a special mention for the breakfast, which was substantial and delicious.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment for 9 nights. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Breakfast was a treat every morning. The apartment was clean and well cared for. The beds were very comfortable, the shower very good. The only negative was the internet, it was rather slow.

Staying here was an outstanding experience in every way. Receiving the delicious breakfast every morning and enjoying it on the stunning rooftop terrace was a highlight of our visit. The hosts and staff are so welcoming and helpful. There is great attention to detail. A special little gem.

Wonderful sums up our stay at this perfectly located and very quiet suite. The rooftop patio has amazing 360 views of the city and comfortable areas for sitting and enjoying the breakfast which includes homemade delicious sweet and savory pastries, yogurt and jam and other treats. Beds were very comfortable and the suite was well equipped. All questions were promptly answered. There’s a convenient nearby garage (where they met us) that they arranged for us.

A perfect place in the beautiful city of Lecce. Elisabetta is such a gracious hostess. She made us feel welcome from the moment we first contacted her about staying. The breakfasts were delicious. The apartment was spotless. The outside living space provided spectacular views of the city. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place! The best breakfast ever! Great location and very helpful staff. The only drawback is the narrow stairs to reach the rooftop area, which is simply due to the building construction from older days, but might be difficult for people with mobility challenges. Also, it would be nice if there was a lounge area inside besides the large beautiful patio sitting area outside. You have only the bedrooms, baths, and kitchen inside. But, again, that is just how the place was built and is perfect for spring, summer, or fall. Otherwise, great! I would definitely return!

Roof Barocco is amazing! The terraces are gorgeous and the interior is so charming. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Absolutely book this place if you can.

Wonderful retreat with delightful hosts. It is like being in a private villa with rooftop views. I loved the terraces with beautiful plants. A big advantage is the central location. Breakfasts were abundant and varied. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the rail station. Steps are involved in getting to the accommodations. We would highly recommend it.

Our stay was perfect. Elisabetta is super awesome and very kind and generous. She left us a goodie bag on arrival which had some yummy stuff to munch on. The breakfast was amazing and more than sufficient to get you going for the day. The house itself is perfectly located and walking distance from amazing bars and restaurants. It has multiple beautiful terraces to enjoy the sunset. Everything about our stay was excellent and we would definitely come back to stay here for a longer time. Our hosts Elisabetta and Pierangelo were the most kind and attentive hosts, they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! From the beautifully designed B&B, large gorgeous terrace, delicious and plentiful homemade breakfasts every morning, suggesting and arranging excursions, beach clubs and taxis, even taking my mother who had an ear infection to the pharmacy to help her get medicine! They were incredible. Our B&B was exceptionally clean and cleaned everyday and its walking distance to all the Lecce sights and restaurants as well as the train station which is ideal for day trips. We can't wait to come back!

Elisabetta's apartment was exactly as described in the photos. It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities that one could wish for. The bed was comfortable and the linen bed sheets made a wonderful surprise that were changed every other day by the wonderful Christina who delivered breakfast and kept the apartment spotless daily. Everything about the apartment screamed ‘quality’. Its situation was right in the heart of the old city and all amenities were within walking distance. Elisabetta provided helpful recommendations - she met us on arrival, was extremely friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to friends and family. A&J.

A charming oasis of peace in the center of the Old Town. We were very well fed with an abundant breakfast and a lovely welcome basket full of treats.

We could not have had a more generous host or wonderful experience in Lecce. Everything was perfect - the location, the rooms, the terraces and Elisabetta, altogether made this one of our favorite places to stay in Italy.

We have traveled extensively and this was one of the best (if not the best) B&B we have stayed at. Elisabetta and her husband - what can I say - the best. Always available to answer questions and make suggestions if we asked. Location was absolutely perfect; we could walk to a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars. Our space was charming and tastefully decorated and fully equipped. We appreciated that it was refreshed daily and the fridge restocked with water. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and the chance to eat on one of our patios. The car park was very close and easy to access. We were escorted to our car upon leaving and the housekeeper would not let us carry our bags. Thanks so much to her and Elizabetta and her husband. We hope to return one day.

It was a great experience to stay here, the terrace, the hospitality of Elisabetta, the breakfast, the location, so quiet but in the middle of the historical center, everything was perfect!

Wonderful setting, wonderful hosts, lovely city, close to bus and train stations as well as to town. Delightful terraces. Lots of fresh fruit and other breakfast offerings. I have only high praise for this delightful gem of a place.

Our host Elisabetta was fantastic. She arranged parking for our rental car nearby and was at the parking site to greet and help us with our luggage. The 2-bedroom apartment was immaculate and had fantastic views from both the sitting area outside the apartment and an additional rooftop area that we had all to ourselves. Elisabetta's breakfast basket each day with fresh homemade goodies was amazing and delicious! If I had known I was going to enjoy this property and our stay so much, I would have booked longer than our 3 nights. Lastly, the location was in the center of Lecce's old town. What more could one want or ask for?

The property was hard to find. There were 48 steps to reach our room, but once we saw it we were very happy with the accommodations, i.e., terrace overlooking the city, fully equipped kitchen, fabulous breakfasts, and a wonderful host. There were 2 bedrooms, although we used only one. All in all, it was a very positive experience & the 48 steps became a minor negative.

Simply put OUTSTANDING on all fronts. The great location and fantastic roof-top balconies were made even more special by our amazing host and her wonderful breakfasts that arrived freshly baked every morning. Less a B&B and more a boutique hotel.

This Bed and Breakfast is a hidden gem in Lecce. The hosts are incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. The breakfasts were exceptional. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat, and I am sure that if we ever visit Lecce again, we will definitely stay here. Thanks for the beautiful memories!

Fantastic hospitality and service. Location is perfect for getting around Lecce and the surrounding area. Top floor suite has a lot of outside space for lounging and dining. The breakfast arriving in a little hamper each morning was a real treat and Elisabetta's home made preserves, jams and yogurts were amazing.

Staying at Elisabetta's incredible retreat in the heart of Lecce was a highlight of our trip to Puglia. The apartment is spacious, elegant, centrally located, very comfortable and a real value. The private upper deck has sweeping views across the rooftops of the city. The lower patio, although adjacent to the patio for the second apartment Elisabetta rents, was also quite private and a great place to eat breakfast or soak in the spring sunshine. There are two bedrooms, a full bath, a half bath, and a well-equipped kitchen - more than enough room for the two of us to feel completely at home. Elisabetta greeted us upon arrival with an overflowing basket of homemade treats, and prepared a very generous and delicious breakfast for us each day of our stay. She is a charming, cultured, enthusiastic hostess who clearly has a passion for her adopted city. Elisabetta also owns a wonderful women's clothing shop a 5 minute walk from the apartment that stocks custom items made from natural materials at reasonable prices. The only thing we regret about our stay at Roof Barocco is that we didn't book a two week stay.

Elisabetta, our host, made us welcome from the moment we contacted her. She was quick to reply to questions throughout our planning and during our stay. Lecce is an old city full of beautiful Baroque buildings, with narrow streets, perfect for wandering on foot. The B&B is in this lovely, old center but visitors should know that car traffic and parking is limited. Fortunately, Elisabetta has thought of that and offers her guests the use of a safe and secure garage near the B&B. We were delighted. On arrival, Elisabetta met us at the garage and guided us to the B&B, which was a short walk over cobbled streets. We had the Loft Suite and could not have been happier. The room was well designed with many thoughtful touches, including crisp, ironed sheets with lovely embroidery along the edges, a full kitchen and well supplied refrigerator (containing homemade Limoncello!), homemade traditional snacks, a welcome bottle of wine, and supplies for making tea and coffee. The bathroom had a great shower, with good water pressure. We had access to four terraces for our sole use, which allowed us to enjoy sun, shade, or panoramic views of the rooftops of this ancient city. Flowers were dotted all around the terraces adding charm and natural beauty. Each morning breakfast was delivered to our door and contained a mixture of sweet and savory dishes made by Elisabetta that day, from products from the family farm. Elisabetta was a gracious and thoughtful host, always offering suggestions for places to eat or sites to visit. She even helped us find a store so that we could replace a piece of luggage that had been seriously damaged during our flight to Italy. Elisabetta is a wonderful ambassador for Lecce and exemplifies hospitality. We will definitely return!

Spectacular! If I could give this property and our hostess an 11 out of 10, I would. The terraces were exactly as I pictured them to be, what a relaxing place to return to at the end of our day. Basket of treats, waiting in our room when we arrived, water and juice in the fridge as well as our special request for some wine and beer. Lots of plugs beside the beds to plug in all your electronic devices. A basket filled with savoury pastry, freshly baked croissants, yogurt, jams, fresh fruit, brought up to our terrace every morning. Fantastic place to use as a base when travelling in the area, we did a day visit to Ostuni, but you could also visit Gallipoli or Otranto, but best of all, the hostess, so accommodating and welcoming. This is the best B&B we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many.

This place is a hidden treasure perfectly located in a quiet area in the old town of Lecce. Elisabetta is the perfect host and the welcome basket of homemade goodies and the sumptuous breakfast delivered to our door every morning was one of the highlights of our holiday. The spacious and beautiful roof terrace was an extra bonus. Can not recommended this place highly enough. Thank you.

We have stayed in some lovely Bed and Breakfasts but this was the best ever. Firstly, it was the cleanest and most immaculate place we've stayed in. Also, the building is beautiful and interesting, with four different areas to sit and relax or eat outside (lovely planting, comfy seats) with amazing views of the rooftops of Lecce (which is just a few minutes walk away). But what we really appreciated were Elisabetta's delicious and generous baskets of goodies! Those pies! Cream-filled croissants! The breads. The jams! The fruit salad! (Water, juice, milk, coffee, tomatoes, olive oil, etc. were also generously provided). The limoncello was the best we've ever tasted. I could go on forever, but suffice it to say that if you want to stay in the area, stay at Roof Barocco Suite for as many days as possible! We're definitely coming back. Thank you so much Elisabetta.

Just perfect, I don't believe you could find a better place to stay in Lecce.

We arrived at Lecce by train and just had a 10-15 minute walk to Roof Barocco Suite B&B. We were greeted on arrival and shown our accommodation by Elizabetta, the owner. The apartment was really well furnished, including air conditioning and a huge fridge stocked with milk, juice, and limoncello, and we had the sole use of three separately furnished terraces along with a higher level viewing terrace - the views were incredible (despite the many aerials!). The main terrace also had a wonderful array of plants in pots. On our arrival, there was a welcome basket of goodies and this set the scene for our breakfast baskets which appeared with a varied selection each morning at a time to suit and were all very delicious - especially the pastries/pies and yogurts. A map of the historic center of Lecce and the use of a guide book were also given to us. A truly amazing place to stay in the historic center of Lecce.

An absolutely beautiful experience from beginning to end. It was easy to find in the old town, underground parking was provided nearby and we had 5 lovely days in our "home from home". A welcome basket of goodies was left for us on arrival. X We were given the two-bedroom suite although we only used one but our hostess felt as we were staying 5 days we'd be more comfortable there. We loved being able to sit out on the patio in the evening & just relax. The antique furniture was beautiful, linen bed sheets, a small kitchen & a breakfast delivered to our door every morning in a lovely ribbon-dressed basket. A magical few days.

We spent 2 lovely nights in the loft suite. Although in the center, very peaceful, other than the pleasant sound of church bells. For us, the highlight was all the private rooftop terrace areas available to us, a number of different outdoor rooms, great spaces for breakfast or a drink, and a great panorama of Lecce. Elisabetta was a superb host and provided amazing breakfast baskets. A very unique B&B.

Everything is superb! Very nice apartment furnished with taste. Antique furniture adds charm to this bed and breakfast! The owners have a garage close enough for parking. Breakfasts are delivered at the time of our choice and are also superb: stracciatella, fresh fruit, local pastries. The terrace is also a great asset for this very well-maintained bed and breakfast.

Starting from the friendly contact during booking to the very friendly reception and assistance on site with a rich and always varied breakfast basket at the desired time, everything was just perfect. A basket with small specialties helped us feel welcome right away. The apartment is spacious, generous, and fully equipped. The highlight is the wonderful rooftop terraces directly in front of and above the apartment, which offer both sun and shade. We looked forward to this oasis of peace and relaxation above the old town of Lecce both for breakfast and upon returning from excursions.

Such a warm hospitality is truly unique, from communication via bedandbreakfast before arrival, reception, basket with many welcome gifts, coffee and tea, breakfast basket with wonderful homemade contents, daily refill of water and coffee to the beautiful location, good beds, quiet sleep everything wonderful. The three terraces provide enough space for beautiful days in Lecce. The room is rather small but sufficient, a small wardrobe room for clothes and suitcases, rather small shower, kitchen with everything necessary.

We spent 2 nights here. Elisabetta welcomed us warmly and provided us with tips and information. We could park the car for free in an underground garage. The room is spacious and very nicely furnished. The highlight is the beautiful rooftop terraces with a view over the Old Town of Lecce. The excellent breakfast is brought to the room and you can have a wonderful breakfast on the roof. The location is really great, quiet in the Old Town and an ideal starting point for exploring the city.

She responded immediately to every request — from an extra duvet to an extra pillow, and even a small issue with the hot water, which her husband fixed in an instant the following morning. We also appreciated her recommendations for nearby excursions, such as a boat trip to the caves of Santa Maria di Leuca or visits to Otranto and Baia dei Turchi. An authentic, relaxing stay full of human warmth. Highly recommended! 💕

I stayed with three friends for three days. It is located on the top floor of a beautiful building in the historic center of Lecce, offering guests a spectacular view of the rooftops of the city and a silence that is truly appreciated. The breakfast service is also of high quality. Not to mention the kindness and availability of the owner and her collaborator.

What can I say? A spectacle, two terraces overlooking the rooftops of Lecce, an apartment carefully curated in every detail, a magnificent breakfast! Everything was super good.

Excellent. Many stairs, not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Staying at Roof Barocco is like awarding yourself with a visit to Lecce, you will be in the pedestrian center just two minutes from Porta San Biagio and Chiesa di San Matteo, everything in the historic center reachable in 10 minutes. A very beautiful historic house in a quiet square, functional and well-furnished interiors, majestic outdoor spaces, we had 3 terraces for personal use. Elisabetta will welcome you with splendid courtesy and excellent breakfasts. Stay absolutely recommended.

Beautiful B&B in a great location for exploring the city on foot. We found everything perfect: the rooms, the breakfast, and the welcome. We would gladly return and recommend it to everyone.

My wife and I stayed there during the mid-August 2021 period. Simply a wonderful place right in the historical center of Lecce, beautifully and appropriately decorated both inside and outside. Elisabetta was extremely kind and an excellent hostess, with many little touches that make a difference and with truly excellent breakfasts. We will return soon, hoping it becomes a reference point for us in Lecce. Claudio and Maria.

Rarely do you find in this price range a combination of kindness, care, and structure like that of this B&B. Excellent attention to detail. Special panoramic position on the rooftops of Lecce.

Excellent in every aspect, exquisite hospitality; rooms cared for in every detail, excellent location, abundant breakfast and welcome basket, of quality and delicious. To be absolutely recommended.

I consider this B&B to be the best I have had the opportunity to know as the attention to every detail is extraordinary, as is the quality of everything that is available to the guest. A welcome basket is full of typical local products with cookies, jams produced by Elisabetta. The entire apartment is at the guest's total disposal, which includes a well-equipped kitchen. The breakfasts are abundant and made up of products of the highest quality such as artisan yogurt and orange juices.

Very nice place in the heart of the old (historic) part of Lecce. Many typical little streets, lots of atmosphere and lovely restaurants, bars or coffee shops. The address is a nice base if you want to go to the sea or to another city or village. Very easy and convenient (to buy) with the bus. The B&B is fully equipped including air conditioning. Breakfast is brought up in a basket and you can arrange the desired time. Daily cleaning and if you need beach towels, they are even ready in a nice beach basket for you. \n\nYou do have to take a few steps of stairs before you reach the terrace, but it is definitely worth it!
