We highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. Giuseppe and Marta are incredible hosts. Their availability, the warm welcome, their help and advice are amazing. The breakfasts are hand made with very local cakes. The place is very nice, pleasant. Located in the old town, very close to the Castello. The place has many restaurant opportunities around. Corigliano is a well-located town to move around and benefit from the best of the Adriatic and Ionian Sea and places. Go go go! You will have good memories for sure!

This B&B is certainly one of the most friendly places I ever visited: Giuseppe and Marta do everything you might wish for when staying abroad: they show you around in their picturesque village, take you to good restaurants and provide very useful info of things to see in the region. Situated on the very cute village square, in a completely renovated typical house, this B&B is impeccably clean and decorated with good taste. The rooms are very comfortable, with good mattresses and there's even a little fridge! Breakfast is quite unbelievable with 100% home made ingredients (Marta bakes everything herself and even the marmalade is handmade). In short: I don't know how it's possible to keep such high standards for such a (very) reasonable price.. Stay here and you will feel immersed in a local community, due to the central location, you will feel welcome you will sleep well and in the end will only pay a very modest sum. Go!

Great B&B, located in the heart of the village. The manager, Mr. Giuseppe, is a super welcoming person. The room is very clean, and the breakfast is delicious with cakes made by sister Marta and mother. The pasticciotto cake is super. Going to them feels like being at home, top-notch hospitality. The structure is located in the center of Corigliano d'Otranto, a very favorable position for visiting Salento with relatively short trips. The building is historic but recently renovated tastefully and soberly. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and spotless. The breakfast consists of homemade or artisanal sweets, excellent for starting the day. The strong point of the B&b is the manager. Giuseppe is a very discreet person but extremely kind and helpful to guests in providing advice on localities, restaurants, and the particularities of the area. We greatly appreciated his intervention on a couple of occasions to help us resolve inconveniences (not due to him). As for parking for cars, we note that there are few spots in the square in front of the structure and with a parking disc, however, there are many free parking spaces in Piazza Vittoria or in the nearby streets. Absolutely recommended.

The Manipinta B&B is a structure with ancient charm, in the very center of Corigliano D'Otranto, a lively small town that offers many proposals for a culinary tour. Giuseppe is a host who has been able to maximize this residence. His attention to detail, cleanliness, and guest hospitality is unbeatable. We were pampered every morning with delicious homemade pastries, different every day, provided along with a basket of various fresh seasonal fruits, homemade jams, orange juice, infusions and tea, toasted bread, as well as coffee and a creamy cappuccino. Giuseppe was also always attentive to advise us on how to best experience the territory, daily suggesting the beaches to visit, places to see, and venues to enjoy sunsets while having an aperitif or great dinners, without neglecting cultural points of interest. Therefore, he deserves a special thank you for how welcomed we felt. He contributed to making our vacation truly special and helping us feel as serene as at home.

Manipinta is located in the heart of Corigliano d'Otranto, a small treasure where the language and traditions of Salento Greek survive. Beautiful! Walking through the streets that wind around the Castle (just a stone's throw from the property) is a journey into a timeless era. The B&B, while modern, reflects the same idea of tradition; it is welcoming and clean, and Giuseppe and Marta are two kind and very helpful hosts. Although it was not our first time in Salento, Giuseppe's advice on the beaches (all easily accessible) was really useful; we were able to discover new places and enjoy the already known ones more comfortably. Marta is also very sweet, and her breakfasts are a treat right after waking up: cakes, cookies, traditional sweets that are impossible not to taste. Thank you guys, we will definitely see you again.

We spent three nights (from 30/12 to 2/01) in this magnificent gem located in Corigliano, a nice village that lacks nothing. The Manipinta Bed and Breakfast is located in the central square, truly characteristic. Clean, welcoming and equipped with every comfort. What makes this place special, in addition to the aesthetics and the furnishings, are the owners, two extremely attentive, welcoming and very helpful people. They provided us with numerous tips on places to see and things to do. The owners made themselves available immediately for any type of information or request, at any time of the day. The breakfast is delicious, made up of sweets that vary from day to day, strictly homemade. I highly recommend this place if you want to be hosted in a clean and well-kept structure, and be "accompanied" during your stay with attention and extreme care.

The stay was very pleasant, with all the possible comforts. The room is spacious and comfortable even with a bunk bed for the children. The bathroom is equally spacious, with a large shower. The service for changing towels is impeccable. Furthermore, if the room is vacated by a certain time, daily cleaning is guaranteed. The breakfast is abundant, based on delicious homemade products and different every day. But above all, the owners are the pride of the place, as they are available not only for the structure but especially for advice on places to visit. The location of the property allowed us to visit all the places of interest with about 30-minute journeys. Honestly, we were very satisfied with the choice.

I am always skeptical about very high ratings sometimes given with great superficiality, but this Manipinta B&B deserves a solid 10. Located in a historic building in the town center, the B&B has been recently restored. The rooms, furnished with taste and simplicity, are equipped with all comforts (mattress and pillow included). Certainly Corigliano is not close to the sea, but Marta and Giuseppe put all their passion and experience into making you experience all the pleasures of Salento: beaches, places and art cities to visit, and many places where you can taste the best food and wine products.

Recommended by a friend, we booked at this property, and it was worth it! Lovely place right in the historic center of Corigliano, with elegant rooms, very convenient for the local places and a stone's throw from the castle, as well as being a strategic point to reach the beaches of Salento both on the Ionian and Adriatic coasts, depending on the wind. But Manipinta B&B's strong point lies in the staff: Giuseppe is the perfect host, lavish every morning with advice on the best places to visit, the best beaches to sunbathe, and always ready during the day to suggest the best places to enjoy excellent meals, all thanks to the unconditional love for his land that he knows like the back of his hand, and Marta churns out delicious breakfasts that are just the prelude to the fabulous days you will spend in those parts if you entrust yourselves to their loving care! The spacious and truly spotless rooms, the delightful breakfast room, and every detail of the structure reflect the passion and care of the two owners Giuseppe and Marta. Wonderful people who make you feel immediately at home, and this is an added value because when you say goodbye to leave, it feels like leaving old and dear friends whom you can't wait to see again. We spent 4 days in an enchanted place! A beautiful bed and breakfast overlooking San Nicola square, located in a house in the historic center of the village, renovated with great taste. Very clean, well organized, practically nothing is missing, it's a gem! And then its location is the cherry on top, in practice Corigliano d'Otranto is at the center of everything. In less than half an hour you can visit the beautiful city of Lecce or reach the beautiful beaches of Otranto. Giuseppe and Marta can recommend fantastic places for unforgettable swims away from crowded beaches, and point out the best restaurants in the area where you can enjoy excellent dinners. We were a group of 3 friends and we felt truly pampered by Marta's rich and well-crafted breakfasts (in my opinion, she should open a pastry shop!) and by Giuseppe's precise and always spot-on directions. For 4 days, we did without TripAdvisor! A big hug guys for everything you offered us, availability, cheerfulness, and friendliness, as well as a lot of professionalism. See you soon because 4 days were too few and we still want to breathe the serene and cheerful air of your home and immerse ourselves in the hospitable and kind atmosphere that you are able to create for your visitors.

Staying at the Manipinta B&B with Giuseppe and Marta means abandoning any guide, weather forecast, search for activities to do, TripAdvisor research because they will suggest everything based on the interests of the guests. Their hospitality is exceptional, the B&B seems open since yesterday for the attention to details and cleanliness. Corigliano d'Otranto, besides being an orange flag, is in a strategic position and you can reach the Adriatic or Ionian coasts in the same travel time, which is definitely an added value considering the constant wind that will inevitably force the visitor to choose one sea over the other. Marta is the modern version of a manipinta from Salento who has maintained tradition in the recipes of fantastic typical sweets (torta pasticciotto and fruttone above all). Giuseppe is the manager one would like to find in any B&B. His precious advice will steer guests away from mass tourism to experience the most authentic Salento possible. Activities, beaches, recommended trattorias are the result of accurate 'selections' and are not suggested just for the sake of it.

If I had to make a commercial to advertise Salento's hospitality, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Giuseppe and Marta with their B&B, I thank them here, once again for their courtesy, availability, kindness, sweetness, and discretion that made our stay with them perfect. Pampered by Marta's sweet treats at breakfast, even when we were the only guests she always prepared several different desserts every morning, from the morning chat during which they helped us organize our days and gave valuable advice, to the attentions to enjoy the day to the fullest, from providing us with the cooler bag to the phone call to the farm to inquire about the reservation! To all this, add that Corigliano d'Otranto is in an ideal position, in the center of Salento, and that you can decide every day, depending on the winds (another Salento magic!) which coast to go to. Staying at the Manipinta B&B was fantastic. A B&B run by Giuseppe and his sister Marta, a cake chef. Giuseppe, on the other hand, is the epitome of helpfulness. Every time he recommended a place, you could feel the pure and unconditional love for “his” Salento. In the end, we fell in love with it too. Returning to the structure, everything is brand new and functional, clean, comfortable, and located in the center of Corigliano, just a stone's throw from the famous castle. We have just spent a week in this magnificent Manipinta B&B, brand new and tastefully furnished rooms, excellent and varied breakfast (every day at least three fresh homemade desserts, exceptional!). But the highlight of this property is the hospitality and availability of Giuseppe and Marta, always ready to give advice to make the holiday better, indications of less crowded beaches, typical restaurants where you can eat well, festivals and fairs in nearby villages, excursions.\n\nWe will definitely come back and it will be like visiting old friends: the location is perfect, in the square of a well-kept village and half an hour from the coast, whether it's the Ionian or Adriatic, so depending on the wind you can find the best conditions every day. We are convinced that those who decide to spend their holidays here will not regret it.

My partner and I had the pleasure of being guests of Giuseppe and Marta for three days and we felt at home. Welcomed as long-time friends, we felt pampered in every way. The rooms are stunning and located in a wonderful late 19th-century building elegantly renovated in the center of Corigliano D'Otranto just a few meters from the Castle. The breakfasts prepared by Marta are rich and delicious, including various strictly homemade sweets. The service also includes the valuable advice of Giuseppe who will recommend the most beautiful places to visit throughout Salento. If you want to spend a nice vacation in Salento, the B&B Manipinta is the place to be. Highly recommended!

The Manipinta B&B is brand new and beautiful just as it appears in the photos. Large rooms, clean, tastefully furnished, inside a wonderful building. Corigliano D'Otranto is a strategic point to visit Salento, the village is a gem, and the hospitality of the manager Giuseppe is total. A person who follows you from before the booking if necessary, during the stay and even afterwards because he remains a friend. Homemade breakfasts with fresh products every morning, the courtesy in giving directions, advice, in meeting every need at an exceptional price can only make me give the maximum score in every respect to Giuseppe and his sister. Thanks to Giuseppe and Marta for their 5-star hospitality, the location is magnificent, refined and very well-kept. You really feel pampered and Marta's cakes are amazing. Giuseppe is a careful host and a profound connoisseur of his areas, he will advise you at best. I recommend this splendid B&B to visit Otranto and surroundings, the village of Corigliano is a little gem and if you dine at the nearby and now famous Masseria Scagnito (best Masseria in Salento decreed by Alessandro Borghese) you will not easily forget your stay. Unforgettable weekend in an excellent Manipinta B&B, welcoming, meticulously detailed, tastefully renovated, extremely clean, in the beating heart of a delightful historic center. Absolutely worth repeating and highly recommended a thousand times. The breakfast, prepared by Marta, is rich in jams and a wide variety of typical homemade pastries, different every day, a real treat for the most greedy and demanding palates. Giuseppe, the manager, is a hospitable person, very helpful and friendly, generous with suggestions ranging from places to eat to the most beautiful tourist spots in Salento not to be missed (bauxite quarry, Palascia lighthouse, Sant'Andrea sea stacks). Corigliano d'Otranto is strategic if you want to discover the Salento Greece and its wonders and Manipinta is the ideal solution to move around, without giving up anything, indeed it represents an unmissable opportunity to enjoy the beauties of a small village rich in history.

A very simple review, excellent room, clean and spacious; the Manipinta B&B in general is beautiful, young and very well maintained. Logistically it is located in the center of the village with parking possibilities in front, although not always easy. The owners Giuseppe and Marta were amazing from the very beginning, with their help we never needed a guide, they found us restaurants, beaches and umbrellas in unimaginable places at advantageous prices. There are indeed many agreements available and their friendships exploitable; it is not easy to live in Salento, the advice and support were necessary and extremely valuable. Sweet breakfast more than varied and abundant with daily products and variations, all strictly homemade, loving sweets I had a blast. We stayed for 10 days and if we were to return to Salento we would certainly go back.

And what about the breakfasts that surprise you every day with always different and excellent homemade pastries! The setting of Corigliano D'Otranto only serves to enhance everything, a gem of a town, hospitable and lovely to visit and experience even in the evening, also an excellent starting point to move around and enjoy the sea of the whole Salento! My wife and I stayed at this splendid Manipinta B&B and we literally fell in love with it. The kindness, attention to detail, the beauty of the rooms, and the wonderful and abundant homemade sweet breakfasts (and more) convinced us to extend our stay for several nights when, initially, Corigliano d'Otranto was meant to be just a passing stop. The structure is in a very central position, easy to find and reach. The room and breakfast area are meticulously cared for in every detail, a clear sign of the owners' passion. Marta and Giuseppe are available for every need and advice on places to visit and how to get around without being intrusive. They took care of us from beginning to end, making sure we lacked nothing and adding warmth to our vacation. Without a doubt, we recommend staying at Manipinta for anyone who wants to visit Salento as the location is strategic and Manipinta will be the splendid setting.
