For five years I personally prepared breakfast for my guests, ? but, since the opening of "Doppiozero, " a delightful coffee bar within walking distance from home, I decided to direct my guests there. The ambiance is very inviting, the café is located in a small square behind the cathedral, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is frugal but with the freshest ingredients.

We had a great time in La Malia. The bedroom was large and well equipped. Very close to the Cathedral so very central. Can be noisy at night as near several bars.

Laura is a wonderful host and extremely caring and knowledgeable about the area, she responds and comments on any questions about the vicinity, places to see, things to try, and eat. The breakfast facility didn't have what was promised, adding that it is an external facility and has nothing to do with Malìa B&B's level of excellent hospitality.

Wonderful stay in this beautiful building. Laura is a charming and very helpful host. Only slight downside is it can be noisy because of its very central location but overall we were extremely happy with our stay here and would recommend it.

We stayed at Malìa B&B and we had a really great time: the location is perfect, in a beautiful and typical building in the heart of Lecce. The room is huge, very well decorated, super clean and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay at Malìa B&B, Laura is a wonderful host and makes you feel like a local: she gave us a very warm welcome and a lot of tips for delicious local restaurants and places to go. A good week in a REAL BnB! Not a fortified door with 3 or 4 key boxes that open with a code! NO. Laura is an outstanding hostess. She is the one who renovated this very beautiful place (18th century) with taste and thinking about the comfort of her guests. Everything is done for comfort: the living room full of beautiful art books, four-poster bed with a 5-star mattress, sparkling clean bathroom. This week was enriched by all the exchanges we had with our hostess who knows her city and region so well! Highly recommended!

Excellent accommodation in an ancient building, right in the city center and only a 5-minute walk from the train station. Good breakfast at a café nearby starting at 8:30. Being in an ancient building, the room stays cool even though there is no air conditioning system. A bit noisy at night as it's located on a street with many bars, but it's probably unavoidable given the location in the pedestrian area of the center. Very courteous and helpful host.

The B&B managed by Laura, an architect from Lecce, is located in a strategic position, just a few minutes' walk from Piazza del Duomo. The room where I stayed is simply enchanting, very spacious and tastefully furnished; to be honest, the whole apartment is a gem: very high ceilings, art books everywhere, classic furniture perfectly in line with the architecture, not only of the building but of the entire city. The private bathroom is large and equipped with all comforts; impeccable order and cleanliness. Despite my room overlooking a very busy street in the beautiful historic center, thick walls, an anteroom before the bedroom, and shutters and window shutters ensure good sound insulation. A tip: if you have the opportunity, try to get to know and converse with Laura, a caring person, always ready to meet your requests for help and endowed with great culture. The breakfast, in an affiliated bar downstairs, is frugal but tasty, and the fig jam is a must. In essence, I recommend, without hesitation, staying at this property capable of encapsulating the qualities typical of the city of Lecce: art, beauty, and elegance. Ps: there is no TV in the room but it can be a benefit!

We appreciated everything about this stay, but Laura contributed to raise the perfection even more: helpful, attentive to every detail, a great sensitivity that is revealed in all the details. We just add that the collection of art books, design, photography, graphic... would deserve a separate vacation, to fully enjoy it!
