The ground floor apartment where I stayed with my family is extremely spacious, very well-kept and furnished in an essential but functional way. Wardrobes would definitely be convenient, but overall the stay was very pleasant. The breakfast includes fruit, jams, and honey from local production, truly exquisite. The location is quiet and truly enchanting, with a view of the city of Mattinata and olive groves between the city and the sea that is really beautiful. The access road is rather steep in some sections, but it is truly worth traveling. The kindness and friendliness of the owner are the perfect backdrop for such a beautiful place. If there were also a swimming pool, it would be a "must" for anyone wanting to visit the southern part of Gargano.

The structure in general and specifically our accommodation is really beautiful, with all the necessary services. The owners are very kind and always available for any request. The location of the structure is not among the most convenient because the road to get there is narrow, but it is rewarded by the view and the tranquility, especially at night. Therefore, in general, it is highly recommended as a place to stay.

Beautiful panorama, tranquility, a good breakfast and courtesy of the managers. Unfortunately, for anything you need to move by car, but the town and the sea are very close and it's all very quiet even in August. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! A dream place, the spectacular view, the kindness of the manager, and a delicious breakfast represent, in my opinion, the perfect combination for a vacation focused on relaxation and contact with nature. The only downside is the tricky road, but the view is so satisfying that everything else becomes irrelevant.

What can I say about B&B La Scapola? I stayed for a week in August with my family and we had a great time! The place is quiet, surrounded by greenery but very close to the beach of Mattinata, a 10/15 minute drive. The room, which was practically an apartment (it only lacked a gas stove), was spacious, essential but very nice, with a large sea view terrace. The breakfast, croissants, toast, jam, biscuits, milk, and coffee, is just what you need to prepare for a day at the beach and is served in the garden, under a centuries-old carob tree. Mr. Michele and his wife are great people, really very kind and helpful, who made our vacation even more beautiful with their hospitality. Thank you Michele! For us, who love animals, how can we not remember the legendary Ciro, Darko, and the kittens? If you pass by that way, stop there; we will return on our next occasion!

You cannot ask for better. A place as scenic as this is not found every day. The management is excellent and it is not far from the sea and from Mattinata. It is a real shame not to go.
