From June 15, 2025, to June 22, 2025, I was a guest at B&B La Palude del Conte, on the Ionian coast of Puglia. The property is about 150 meters from the free beach, which is clean, for the record, and for those who want the best, right next door is the "Teranga" camping lido, well organized with umbrellas and sunbeds in 3 rows. For those looking for peace, tranquility, a lovely sea, and adequate services, it is definitely the right choice. Upon arrival, the first great surprise was the private parking under the trees, always cool, right under the property. Then the outdoor shower and the foot wash (to avoid getting sand in the room) put me in a good mood. A special mention for Giuseppe, who runs the property with friendliness and courtesy, always available to meet every request, and for Rosaria, the person who takes care of the management services and breakfast, always present but NEVER intrusive, polite and kind as few. My and my wife's thanks to her and Giuseppe for making us have a wonderful week. Then there's Andrea, Giuseppe's son, who helps his dad manage the property and runs a lovely restaurant with attached tobacco and bar located under a pine forest with trees completely decorated with lights, right behind the B&B. A heartfelt thank you to all of them.

I stayed for a week in a B&B room on the first floor with a balcony (there are also ground floor apartments without breakfast available). The room is newly renovated, very welcoming, and sufficiently spacious for three people, and above all, very clean. The cleaning, with a change of bed and bath linens, is scheduled every other day. The breakfast is abundant and certainly of quality, with fresh baked goods and seasonal fruit. The criticism, which I hope is constructive, is that it could be more varied. But the real strengths of the property are certainly the proximity to Punta Prosciutto beach, less than five minutes on foot, and the absolute kindness, availability, and cordiality of the owners, father Giuseppe and son Andrea, who also runs the excellent restaurant/pizzeria/bar/minimarket adjacent, assisted by the very kind Alessia. Definitely rated highly!

One-week stay. The property is in a great location, 100 meters from Punta Prosciutto beach, in a quiet area, 5 km from Torre Lapillo, the most crowded area. The house that welcomed me is well divided and comfortable. I have a criticism for the entire Salento region, I find that they charge too much (both accommodation facilities and gastronomic venues, including beach clubs) for the quality of services offered. Their strength is the sea, but if people are scared off, they won't come back.

Our experience fully confirms the reviews read. The family management makes you feel at home, from Andrea who welcomes you enthusiastically, nonna Ada who prepares delicious 'pasticciotti' to die for every morning, and Giuseppe who elegantly and knowledgeably recommends the undiscovered places to see every day to fully enjoy the wonders that Salento offers. I also want to underline the maximum cleanliness that is carefully done by Elisabetta every day, with bed linen and towels changed every two days, leaving a clean scent 24/7. What can I say, without a shadow of a doubt, as soon as we manage to return to Salento, wherever our destination may be, this b&b will be our landing place.

The managers are exquisite people, always present, available, and friendly. The structure offers everything necessary, from shaded internal parking to equipped porch. Our apartment is comfortable and welcoming, it even has mosquito nets. The bathroom, not shown in the photos, is large and new. It is very close to Punta Prosciutto beach. For shopping, there is a minimarket, but in fact, you need to drive there.

B&B located in a very good position: a few meters from Punta Prosciutto beach (for those who do not want to travel kilometers in search of beautiful sea), but with the possibility to reach all the other destinations that Salento offers. Simply furnished, without too many claims, do not expect a design B&B. The room is spacious and comfortable for 2 people (ours also had an extra single bed, which can work very well as a 'walk-in closet'. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. Equipped with air conditioning, we never had to use it because the climate was always great, both day and night. Possibility to use the barbecue in the garden, provides customers with internal parking. Breakfast ok: not many handmade products (however the management is family-run), but all in all it offers a good choice (croissants, cake, yogurt, fruit salad). The owners are very nice and extremely helpful: ready for any request, friendly and welcoming. One flaw: the walls are a bit thin, in the morning those who got up early for breakfast (possible from 8 to 10) disturbed those who were still sleeping. If breakfast had been from 9 to 11 it would have been perfect. The price is very good. For 7 nights we spent about 650€. Highly recommended!

Very clean structure managed brilliantly, the owners very friendly and welcoming also in recommending places to eat, inside there is the possibility of private parking, so you only take the car in the evening to go out, the beach is a few minutes' walk away, a few meters away there is also a mini market that sells everything, we had a great time. We were guests at this wonderful property for a few days, the managers Diego and Andrea are two splendid guys, kind and always very helpful in giving advice on places to visit or restaurants where you can taste typical dishes. The breakfast is varied and abundant and the property is well-maintained and cared for in every detail. The location is ideal as you can reach the beach on foot. Furthermore, the property has an internal parking and plenty of space for the children to play. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back!

It turned out to be the peaceful holiday we hoped for. We had a good time, and we were truly just a few steps away from a spectacular sea. Simple and essential but with everything you need, very clean, excellent and abundant breakfast also with fresh melon and fruit salad (thanks Grandma Ada), exquisite croissants and a good assortment of pastries and cookies. In the garden parking under the pine trees, washing machine, hose to remove sand; on the common terrace (with spaces reserved for each room) personal clothesline, chairs, and a small table. Diego is very kind and reliable in providing advice and information upon request; a hundred meters from the structure the protected dunes open onto a stunning sea similar to the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia, with clear sand and crystal clear waters. Residential area, very quiet, for a holiday away from the chaos. Thank you and see you soon to Diego and the rest of the family.
