Hotel La Plancia

We stayed at La Plancia for just one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's an older hotel, but its fantastic location more than makes up for that. Situated in the quieter part of Otranto, it's right on the beach and only a short, scenic walk from the bustling historic centre. The hotel is family-run, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. We opted to add breakfast, which was excellent. There was a lovely selection of fresh cakes, juices, hams, cheeses, and other breakfast items. I also ordered scrambled eggs, which were freshly prepared for me. We chose one of the simpler rooms without a balcony, and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. As we spent most of our time exploring the area, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, a big thumbs up from me. Great location, warm hospitality, and excellent value for a stay in Otranto. Highly recommended.

Great location, although the area is quite windy. Facing the sea, close to a large parking area. Quiet area but close to the town center. Very kind owners. The property is a bit dated, like most in the area, but equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. I recommend it.

Everything great.

We were on vacation at the end of July and we had a great time: crystal clear sea just steps away, very kind and helpful staff of Hotel La Plancia ready to accommodate every request. Clean and quiet room to relax after lunch. Definitely recommendable.

Spectacular stay. Gabriele, along with the family, welcomed us really well. Helpful and very kind. Abundant breakfast and impeccable cleanliness. We will definitely come back 100%.
