Our B&B is placed at Castro Marina district of Castro a stone's throw from the sea in an area known for its spa waters and facilities (Terme), in a location with a spectacular view. "B&B L'Aurora" is welcoming, with refined attention to detail.

Our location and the surrounding area offer our guests a chance to taste the typical local products thanks to the food and wine tours, take in countless cultural events and unique exhibitions, exploring museums and exhibition areas.
Near our facility you can find several monuments and famous places. Remember that just only 230 m away there is the 'Cattedrale'.

The host was very kind. She asked us every day which croissant we wanted for the next day. Every morning she asked if we needed something. They helped us figure out how we could take public transportation. On the last morning, we had to walk with our luggage to the nearest bus stop, and she immediately helped us get there in an easier way. We had a very nice stay.

The property is situated between the old town and the sea, the old town is just five minutes' walk, and it is also possible to walk to the beach and take a shuttle back. A shuttle is advisable as the property is uphill. My room was spacious, spotless, the furniture was not the most modern, but it had everything I needed. Breakfast was ok, fresh croissants and coffee plus the usual jam, cookies, and snacks. Communication with the host was excellent, Sabina was very nice to me and the other guests. Good value for money, I would definitely go again.

Great place for a beach vacation. Nearby is the famous Grotta Zinzulusa (15 minutes walk towards Santa Cesarea), the port of Castro with panoramic parking and bus stop - 15 minutes walk to the south. Directly above the house (5 minutes uphill), there is the center of Castro, the upper town with squares, cafes, restaurants, viewpoint, and Aragonese castle. The owners are very kind and help with everything. Well connected place with other historical cities thanks to the bus transport operating in summer for tourists. Good and abundant breakfast. Very clean structure, also very quiet. It is a good place to relax, go to the beach, and visit Salento.

Well-managed structure, comfortable beds and everything working. Good location to reach Castro and Castro Marina. The managers are very kind and helpful, attentive to every request. We had a problem with the bathroom, they immediately allowed us to use another one temporarily and the fault was repaired on the same day. Highly recommended!

Castro is a town reachable from the side street of B&B L'Aurora. Castro Marina is reachable by car, a bit tiring on foot due to the ups and downs. Zinzulusa is 300 meters away and can be reached on foot. The breakfast is plentiful, and Mrs. Sabina is available for any requests regarding intolerances or allergies. Even though the location is not right by the sea, on the other hand, you can sleep peacefully at night even without air conditioning. The sea view is still present. In any case, Castro is a gem. We will definitely return, but only to B&B L'Aurora.

Hospitable and very clean structure, environments not new but spacious and welcoming, abundant breakfast, very friendly hosts and attentive to the guests' needs. The location is very convenient for the center and for the Zinzulusa cave, convenient parking very close to the structure.

We stayed at this property in July 2019 and had a great time. The property is a stone's throw from the Zinzulusa cave and a stone's throw from the historic center, Castro Marina is three minutes away by car, maybe even less. The owners are very kind and hospitable, ready to meet every need. We will definitely come back.

We stayed a week at B&B L'Aurora and had a great time. Perfect location: in 200 meters on foot you can reach the center of Castro, a little more for the marina, Grotta di Zinzulusa at 600 meters. Also very good for reaching other locations in Salento (Santa Cesarea Terme, Marina Serra, Otranto, etc). Mrs. Giusy and her family are very friendly, welcoming and attentive in asking us about our breakfast preferences. Spacious and very clean rooms with a fridge and air conditioning.

The B&B is in a very convenient location to reach the Grotta della Zinzulusa and Castro Paese on foot. In 5 minutes by car you can reach Castro Marina. The rooms are very spacious and clean, with a bathroom in each room and a personal fridge. Each room has an exit to the entrance veranda! The breakfast is prepared in a very elegant way at tables reserved for each room. Mrs. Giusi was very helpful, also showing us the main attractions of the area.\n\nI recommend it!
