The room is big and spacious. The bathroom is large. It is very clean. The host picked us up from the train station. If you are in Bari to visit the old center, the room is too far. It is a walk of 1 hour. Or you can take a bus to the station and walk from there 25 minutes to Bari Vecchia. There is a lot of noise (traffic because it is located on a big street and from the other rooms). In the room there is a separate price list (to use the kitchen 10€/day ...). If you need to be in the polyclinic, it is very close.

Everything was amazing! The room was very clean. We didn't have breakfast included, but coffee and Italian croissants were always there. Francesco picked us up from the station to the accommodation.

I found a room for two in these accommodations for New Year's Eve with one day's notice, for only 100 euros. The owner responded on WhatsApp within a few minutes and immediately confirmed the reservation. In the area, there is every type of shop (including a Chinese restaurant), it is close to the center and very close to the hospital. The WiFi is free, the room and the bathroom are clean and warm in winter, the beds and pillows are soft, and in the morning there is already everything needed to make a coffee in the kitchen. Usually, check-out is done early in the morning, but the owner allowed us to leave the room by eleven without extra charge, since the New Year's Eve night left us exhausted. Perfect experience, no complaints!

My boyfriend Francesco and I stayed at Alloggio Anthea from Thursday 17 to Monday 21 August (four nights and five days) and we had a great time. The B&B is located in the Policlinico di Bari district in a very quiet area (despite being close to the road, no noise can be heard, so you sleep and relax very well). The place is well served in terms of public transport: you can easily move to the center of Bari either by bus (there are two stops a few steps from the apartment where you can take buses 6 or E) or on foot (the station can be reached in 15/20 minutes). From Bari Centrale you can then take the train to Polignano a Mare and Monopoli (Trenitalia), to Matera (FAL) or to Alberobello (bus). The room where we slept is the Orange one and it is very bright, welcoming and spacious, all in shades of orange; it is also equipped with all the necessary comforts: private bathroom with shower, very comfortable double bed, TV, air conditioning and table with chairs. The owner Francesco was very kind and helpful, highly recommended.

I needed a structure that was close to the hospital, this one is perfect, not even 5 minutes on foot. The room was very clean, the manager very kind.

The room was beautiful, well-maintained, carefully and meticulously clean. It's spacious enough for a Bed and Breakfast, with a comfortable bathroom that is super clean like the rest of the room. The only downside was the soundproofing; unfortunately, you could hear everything from the next room, but everything is overshadowed by the kindness of the owner.

The room where I stayed at Alloggio Anthea is clean and decent, but noisy. Loud and annoying noises from other rooms, the kitchen, various pipes, drains and/or the shower in the opposite room, the front door, the gate, etc. can be heard very loudly. The towels definitely need to be changed, they are of a domestic type, felted cotton and of low quality, and they always remain damp. Also, there is a lack of a towel warmer radiator in the bathroom. The bed is comfortable, the wardrobe is okay, but both pillows are anti-cervical, you have to get used to them. The small table present is all worn out and has holes, not nice to look at. The kitchen area available is good but here too there are some negative details, like the absence of paper towels, and they provide a small coffee maker for all guests, very inconvenient. Considering that nowadays it is easy to provide a modern coffee machine with pods. Overall decent, but I wouldn't go back.
