I had a wonderful stay at this charming family-owned bed and breakfast in La Palud, just a short 6-minute drive from Courmayeur’s city center. The amenities were fantastic, including electric charging stations, making it convenient for all types of travelers. The atmosphere felt so homely, and the owners and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There are also lovely restaurants nearby, adding to the experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We loved our stay at Hotel Funivia. The beds were comfortable and the views were spectacular. Great place to stay when riding the Monte Bianco Skyway.

Very kind and knowledgeable owner on what to recommend to tourists, welcoming and professional staff. A very small observation, the breakfast could be richer, especially in local products because I think the quality is up to a tasty breakfast.

All very good as per the report card. If I have to make a point, the towels, due to the textile consistency, did not dry very well. Just a detail, but if they had been made of sponge, they would have been more comfortable. Good location also because it is close to the Val Ferret bus stop that allows you to get there without using the car (... and paying 20€ per day for parking in the valley) using the shuttle service.

Fantastic experience, Hotel Funivia strategically positioned, very kind staff, very clean and spacious room, as well as the bathroom. I will come back.

Everything perfect, with a 5-minute drive you can access the parking in front of the cable car, under the Hotel Funivia there is free parking, also close to Skyway and the Pré-Saint-Didier thermal baths. We had a great time, friendly and helpful staff. Only small defect but solvable, the heating was very high, but easily adjustable in the room!

B&B located in a charming position, literally at the foot of Mont Blanc. The structure is very welcoming, the furnishings are well taken care of in every detail. Quiet and peaceful place with a very pleasant garden. The structure is close to all points of interest, to trails, restaurants, and shops. Excellent choice.

We were in Courmayeur for the first time, we stayed for a week, we had a great time. I booked an attic room, it was spacious, clean and tidied up every day (THANKS to the Lady of the Floors), comfortable and just as I wanted, mountain style! The breakfast was plentiful and satisfying throughout the holiday. The staff is professional, very kind and available for all our requests making us feel at home! The location of Hotel Funivia is great, just a few kilometers from Courmayeur, from the wonderful Val Ferret, from the Skyway to admire Mont Blanc in all its splendor and the fantastic snow-covered panorama and finally close to France crossing the well-known Mont Blanc Tunnel, therefore as far as we are concerned it is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Hotel! A thank you to Mrs. Elena, owner of the structure, an excellent landlady, a woman of infinite sweetness who manages a completely female hotel! A heartfelt thanks to her daughter Martina, to Caterina from the Front Office who put up with our long chats! With all our hearts we thank you for your wonderful hospitality, waiting for you in our extraordinary island which is Sardinia, we hug you tightly hoping to come and visit you again, Manuela and Emanuele.

Lovely and welcoming structure, very courteous staff. There's even a tea room!

Very pleasant stay at Hotel Funivia, beautiful furnishings in the room and common areas, top cleanliness, kindness and courtesy of the owners.

I discovered it a few years ago and returned this last weekend with my family, 4 adults in a two-room apartment for 2 nights. I can only join the chorus of many others who have appreciated the comfort of this elegant, quiet, welcoming structure, strategically located a few steps from the Sky Way Monte Bianco cable car and all the beauty of its territory. It has two excellent reading and relaxation rooms for rainy days. I would like to emphasize the sensitivity and sweetness of the owners. I am celiac and my wife is lactose intolerant, we had no problems for breakfast, lactose and gluten-free foods. I returned precisely for their attention and availability. Recommended!

Great value for money, we recommend enhancing the wi-fi network. Comfortable for those who, like us, enjoy hiking.

Ideal location for those who want to visit the Mont Blanc area, both using the brand new cable car and through walks and trekking. The area is quiet, the structure has comfortable and cozy rooms, always clean; the management, all female, is very friendly and helpful. Even the prices are not bad, considering the average cost of structures in the Courmayeur area. We will definitely return to this hotel and therefore we highly recommend it.

The owner, Mrs. Elena, is a lovely, kind person and very helpful in providing useful information. The common areas are well furnished and comfortable, there are magazines and many books available.

We stayed at this facility for a weekend from January 5th to 7th. Charming place, surrounded by lodging facilities, small restaurants, and pubs within a few minutes' walk. There is also free parking below and above the Hotel Funivia. Cozy room, very warm, with a view of the snowy mountains, private bathroom, and TV. The facility also has a lounge where you can relax on sofas, read something, play board games or cards available to visitors, warm up in front of the fireplace. The breakfast was very simple but tasty: excellent yogurt and homemade bread. The staff is very helpful in providing information about the area and how to get around, providing a map. We hope to come back soon, we left a piece of our heart there.

We stayed at this property for 2 nights. Elena, the owner, was extremely helpful before our arrival, during, and after. If I needed to stay in the area again, I would not hesitate to contact her again. A 2-star hotel absolutely comparable to others classified at a higher level.

The managers are kind and friendly, the structure is kept clean and tidy, the parking is close and the restaurants are within walking distance, it's not a luxury place, I would say cozy, definitely genuine. We plan to come back.

Very nice and cozy hotel. The owners are helpful and kind. We felt at home. I highly recommend this hotel because personally we were not disappointed neither by the price nor by the structure that represents the mountain. Surely for the next stay we can only choose Hotel Funivia.

I found the hotel very welcoming both for the courtesy of the staff and the owner and for the characteristics of the structure, simple but distinctive and very comfortable. A very authentic mountain experience far from the hustle and bustle of nearby Courmayeur. The main ski lifts are not very close but easily reachable by shuttle (I recommend the one from ski rent 4810) and there are numerous possible excursions in the area (wonderful experience of climbing Mont Blanc via the new Skyway). Perhaps I would suggest giving more space/emphasis to artisanal/typical products for breakfast. Thank you.

Friendliness, availability, courtesy, excellent value for money. Warm, welcoming, clean, characteristic environment and not standardized; Caterina and Elena are precious with their advice on where to dine, where to buy local products, lesser-known and discounted places to visit. Breakfast not only abundant but with quality products: from honey to superb jams to local yogurts. The location, namely Palud, a hamlet of Courmayeur, is also an optimal position to then enter Val Ferret, Val Veny, take the Mont Blanc cable car, go on excursions, a visit to the Près St. Didier gorge, the cantilevered walkway, the thermal baths..and why not the alpine pool with heated water at 1700 meters above sea level. So, an excellent base for visiting this part of Valle d'Aosta. You are close to Courmayeur but not in the city: the place is quiet, for those who love to enjoy the beauties that the two small valleys offer. Pleasant surprise were also the rooms assigned to us: we had asked for a triple and we found ourselves in two nice and sunny connecting rooms: excellent. An experience that we hope to be able to repeat soon. Thanks again to Caterina and Elena.

Perfectly located for skiing (Val Veny cable car) or for reaching the top of Mont Blanc with the Sky Way cable car. The town center is 3 km away. The rooms are quite simple but decent. The common areas are numerous and welcoming, with a sauna as well. There is a convenient parking lot near Hotel Funivia. Great value for money for Courmayeur.

What nostalgia, we just returned yesterday and I would already come back today. Wonderful place, even more wonderful owners, a perfect combination that makes everything special. I will come back soon, the room is very nice and clean, thank you Elena for everything.

Splendid structure, close to the center of Courmayeur and even closer to the magnificent Val Ferret. Mrs. Elena and her colleagues are extremely kind, always smiling and willing to give advice. They even lent us snowshoes for a hike to Arpy. Spacious and clean room. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. Absolutely worth trying.

We were guests at this property from December 26 to 29, 2013. Excellent choice. Mrs. Elena is a very kind person, as is the young man who served breakfast. Very welcoming location and also a beautiful sauna that is very appreciated after a nice ski. Free parking 200 meters away and for dinner, the Armandina restaurant is very convenient and very good. Everything is perfect and especially the beautiful view, breathtaking. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax for a few days.

The hotel is very nice and welcoming, in an optimal position for those who wish to go on excursions in the valleys of Mont Blanc. The managers are very friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

We stayed there in January, it was a truly splendid stay. The hotel is located in the area of 'La Palud', a fraction of Courmayeur, right under Mont Blanc and in front of the cable car that leads to the Torino Vecchio refuge at an altitude of 3375 m above sea level. In 2015 it will reach Punta Helbronner at an altitude of 3462 m above sea level and from there to Chamonix in France. In front, there is a large free parking lot (in winter), always kept clean by snowplow vehicles. The hotel is managed by Elena and Vittorio, who welcomed us wonderfully. Inside, there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere made of small cozy and relaxing corners, enveloped in silence and a hint of magic. We opted for the Mini mansard double room (number 10): a dollhouse room, small (even the little window), but complete, where everything is carefully arranged in its place. Upon our arrival, every morning, we were greeted by Vittorio's smile, who prepared us excellent cappuccino. The breakfast is a buffet with every variety of delicacies: 4 types of jams, Nutella, cereals, 2 types of yogurt, butter, brioche, cold cuts, cheeses, white and black bread, and toasted bread. In the afternoon, after our walks, we would sit in one of the 2 living rooms furnished in mountain chalet style, where we sipped excellent hot chocolate while reading one of the many books available for visitors. For dinner, there is a restaurant next door; you can access it in a 'convenient' way (reservation made by the hotel) with a fixed-price menu, but also freely and with a slightly higher cost; even here there is a warm welcome, generous and tasty dishes. We will certainly return as soon as possible because it turned out to be an excellent accommodation. We sincerely recommend it.
