Our stay at 'Lo Chalet di Ocre' was perfect! Nice location - new, functional and beautiful B&B. Igor is the perfect host and gave us a lot of information. We could store our bicycles in a safe place and Igor gave us a lift by car to reach a restaurant nearby since it was raining. Breakfast was opulent and tasty. Will be our first choice next time we go to Abruzzo.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in a place where they can feel at home. The owner is available at all times and is a wonderful person. The chalet's location is perfect because from there every attraction in the area is easily reachable. The room, like the rest of the chalet, is cozy and clean. The breakfast is excellent.

The structure is very nice, quiet, and above all very clean. The owners were super helpful and welcoming from the first contact. The owner provided us with many useful tips on what to do in the area. He also has a well-made website full of suggestions for outdoor activities like canoeing, trekking, excursions, and much more, really a plus. It is ideal for those looking for peace and comfort. I highly recommend it for weekend motorcycle trips, it is in a strategic location with well-paved roads. Perfect also alone, as a couple, and with family. Go there!

We stayed with 7 people at the beginning of a week-long walk in the footsteps of St. Francis (Guide "With Wings on Our Feet"). Igor's empathy, the comfort of the accommodation, and the quiet location could not have been better. And upon returning, we retrieved our vehicles with satisfaction. Enchanting place. The structure is entirely made of wood, equipped with all comforts. We had a wonderful stay. I recommend it for a weekend or for a long stay. In any case, it is equipped with all comforts. Igor is a very kind, available, and friendly person. The sauna in the garden is the cherry on top and Igor was very professional in explaining everything to us. Highly recommended.

Excellent structure equipped with all the comforts to spend a pleasant relaxing vacation. Igor, the owner, makes you feel at home, welcoming, cheerful and courteous. In the morning at breakfast he welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake, not to mention the variety of choices between toast, yogurt, coffee, herbal teas and cookies even for those with intolerances. The structure is a small oasis of paradise. The bedroom was cozy with a comfortable bed and a large wardrobe. The bathroom was clean and fragrant, equipped with all the necessary personal care accessories. I used the private parking. I recommend it to anyone, whether in family, as a couple or even alone, who wants to spend a pleasant relaxing vacation discovering the Aquila territory.

Three fantastic nights. Relax, tranquility and genuineness! The structure is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom has a super hydro massage bathtub and the manager is very kind. We could not have found better than this.

It's the second time we come back to Lo Chalet di Ocre, the expectations of the first time have been widely exceeded even though it was a beautiful experience the first time as well. Lo Chalet is enchanting in its finishes, equipped with everything, extremely quiet, in a strategic position to reach enchanting places. The owner is a master in hospitality, kind and sunny, he always made us feel at home. The breakfast is unrivaled, for us lactose intolerant it's almost a dream to wake up with delicious cakes and cappuccinos like in the best bars. We will come back again and again! We are already planning the next stay in what is now our favorite place. Thank you for everything Igor🙏.

The Chalet di Ocre is very characteristic, entirely made of wood, the rooms are really beautiful. It is strategically located 10 minutes from L'Aquila and 20 minutes from other tourist spots to visit. The breakfast was spectacular, very abundant with homemade sweets, very cute. Of course, all this would not have been possible without two exceptional hosts who gave us useful advice and welcomed us in a very warm way. I sincerely highly recommend this chalet.

I stayed at Lo Chalet di Ocre for only one night (unfortunately) for vacation, I was alone and I was lucky to have the chalet all to myself. Beautiful wooden structure, excellent cleanliness, quiet place, great location for excursions and in winter for skiing. The manager, Igor, is a very nice and kind guy. I will definitely come back soon.

Structure completely in wood in excellent condition. Good base for excursions and trips to the numerous attractions of the Abruzzo aquilano and beyond, just 10 km from the capital. Very pleasant stay! I chose the property for the presence of the car charging station (working perfectly at 6 kWh overnight!) and found an extremely friendly and kind host. The structure seems new as it is well-maintained and is located in a very peaceful setting just 10 km from L’Aquila. It is an excellent base for excursions and bike rides in the surroundings. I will definitely return.

Great structure, we took the Monte Ocre suite and it is very comfortable, also beautiful location with a view of the mountains. Excellent breakfast with homemade sweets. The owner Igor is very kind and knowledgeable about the attractions of the area.

The structure is easy to reach and well positioned. The manager was very kind, he gave us instructions to enter the structure and many tips on our summer itineraries and useful information about the city of L'Aquila. The room is located inside a two-story cottage, entirely used as a bed and breakfast. The bathroom, outside the room and located at the entrance of the house, has been recently renovated and is clean. Breakfast like at home and comfortable. Recommended especially for groups of 4 people.

Lo Chalet di Ocre is located a stone's throw from L'Aquila and 30 minutes from Ovindoli and Campo Felice. A beautiful wooden chalet with a very comfortable common area with a sofa and TV. Very clean private bathroom (outside the room). The structure has two very nice views towards the mountains. The host is helpful, easy to contact, and ready to give you any advice or assistance. In the area, there are a couple of very nice restaurants. Excellent starting point for excursions or days in the snow. We will definitely come back.

Rarely have I found a lodging facility so well-kept and clean, I gladly used slippers at home to respect the wooden floor, the suite is beautiful and spacious with a comfortable bed as well as the bathroom, although outside the room but for exclusive use, stunning view of Mount Ocre that contributes, along with everything else, to make the stay special as far as I'm concerned. Congratulations for the perfect management, well done! I hope to return with the rest of the family soon.

It was a wonderful holiday, not only for the breathtaking landscapes, excursions, food, but above all for the people we were fortunate to meet. One of these people was Igor from Lo Chalet di Ocre, a special and humane person who accompanied us throughout our vacation, advising us on what to do and see depending also on the weather. A person with a big heart who made our stay at Lo Chalet unforgettable, making us feel more at home there than in our own home. I thank Igor and his partner Lucia from the bottom of my heart, who with her delicious pastries made our breakfasts incomparable. An experience to be repeated as soon as possible, certainly with the arrival of snow. And even though I like to visit a different place every time, this time without a doubt I will return to Lo Chalet with Igor and Lucia.

A wonderful chalet located a few kilometers from the city of Aquila. Strategic location if you want to keep your distance from the city noises but at the same time not too far from it. A new and well-kept structure. Igor is very kind and available to meet guests' requests. He is an all-around athlete who organizes all kinds of activities both in summer and winter. We will be back soon. Highly recommended.

Really beautiful structure. A real and proper Chalet with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Too bad for the manager who seemed kind on the phone but in the morning, when he came to serve breakfast, he had something to complain about everything, even about increasing the degrees of the room thermostat because according to him we were supposed to freeze to death. Not to mention the mockery shown, that he had guaranteed the proximity of his structure to 9 km from Campo Felice and the ski slopes. Unpleasant person.

Stefanelli ci dispiace che i 20 gradi non erano sufficienti all'interno di uno Chalet classe A energetica e che nonostante fosse presente un cartello rosso ben evidente con scritto non toccare lei abbia (senza nessun tipo di consultazione) pensato bene di agire in proprio, evidentemente non era abbastanza chiaro. Nessuno peraltro ha mai parlato della distanza da campo felice facilmente consultabile in automatico tramite google maps, lo strumento di navigazione più diffuso al mondo e di difficile confutazione. Evidenzierei peraltro che, in una struttura che non accetta animali, senza nessun tipo di comunicazione è stato usato il giardino e il porticato dello Chalet per il ristoro e il bisogno di 6 cani da slitta senza voler corrispondere nessun sovrapprezzo per la sanificazione (costata 50€ avendo una figlia allergica). Credo che le è andata di lusso l'"indisponenza"....Buona Vita!

I found a delightful chalet, newly furnished and equipped with everything. Welcoming at the arrival as if I were family. Everything very clean, impeccable bathroom. Chalet kept in an impeccable manner, all services within easy reach, nothing is left to chance. Maximum hospitality and courtesy as well as availability of the owner. Excellent internal microclimate, possibility of internal parking if necessary. The chalet's location is in a very small village but it is only a few minutes from Campo Felice.

I stayed for two nights with my family, there are five of us, and Igor reserved the entire Chalet di Ocre for us! The structure is fantastic: entirely in wood, warm and welcoming with a fantastic view of the Gran Sasso on one side and the snow-covered and dazzling Mount Ocre in the morning sun on the other. Not too far from the ski slopes and an excellent starting point for picturesque mountain walks. Igor's passion and knowledge of his land and its mountains framed pleasant and instructive conversations. An experience to repeat in every season. Thank you Igor.

I found myself passing through the village of San Felice d'Ocre and, needing to make a stop before continuing my journey, I could not resist the temptation to try the experience of sleeping in a fully wooden chalet. The stay was unforgettable, perfect cleanliness, the owner was very friendly and ready to provide any directions and information on trails, ski slopes, and excursions, being a mountain enthusiast and, according to him, also a skilled snowboarder/alpinist. The breakfast is abundant and the price is reasonable. Passing through this area often, I will surely have the opportunity to stay again at this welcoming structure. Rating 10.
