We stayed for 2 nights, and before arriving we were contacted by the managers, who were very kind, friendly, and helpful. Overall, if everything was fine, as we were and more, things that few people do. We brought our little furry friend with us, who was warmly welcomed by the managers, and this is a plus. The only thing is that we had problems with the shower head in room n2 where we were and the pillows were a bit too stiff, better the Memory foam, but otherwise everything went well, close to shops and every service, including restaurants and pizzerias for eating or going on excursions.

We stayed at Camere Aurora for one night, comfortable room, rich breakfast and very good coffee. Convenient parking just outside the building, there are some internal stairs to climb but otherwise the structure is very comfortable and welcoming. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

The structure is beautiful and clean. The managers are always present and punctual. It is in an excellent location for excursions and the location is quiet. The breakfast is super abundant. Highly recommended.

I stayed two days at Camere Aurora and I had a great time! Being alone, I found the structure very comfortable, ideal for exploring the Campo Imperatore area, Gran Sasso and all the beautiful nearby villages like Rocca Calascio, S.Stefano di Sessanio, Navelli, Castel del Monte etc. Despite not being a luxury facility, it offers an excellent value for money. It is very clean and the manager is very kind and helpful. Moreover, the entrance is automated, allowing me to enter and exit whenever I wanted. Breakfast is included, with packaged products but with a wide variety of choices and always available. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Structure with many types of rooms. Buffet breakfast. Packaged but excellent and abundant things. You can also use the kitchen to prepare your own meals. Friendly and helpful manager. I appreciated his advice on places and roads.

I stayed at Camere Aurora for 6 days in a single room because I was on a solo motorcycle vacation. I had a great time! The facility is extremely clean, equipped with everything you need and the shared kitchen available to the rooms proved to be very useful to avoid dining out every evening, and to prepare a glass of warm milk even in the middle of the day for a snack. Joseph, the owner, is a lovely person who gave me lots of advice on what to visit, and was always by my side at every moment of the vacation keeping the facility in order and constantly asking me if I needed anything. The location is strategic to reach Campo Imperatore with beautiful bends, the Stiffe Caves and just a few kilometers from L'Aquila, which is always great to not feel completely isolated in some remote village. In short, I found Camere Aurora almost by chance on the internet, but now I can say that I would choose it among a thousand others, considering everything I have written! If you go to those areas, definitely stop by Joseph!

From the province of Lecce, with fury, we arrived in this little village called Poggio Picenze. Landscapes to love, Joseph is a very nice person. Super helpful and friendly, ready to chat and give advice. We had a great time, super comfortable beds and abundant breakfast, more than enough. We stayed in a triple room with en-suite bathroom, spacious room, abundant breakfast with the possibility to use the kitchen equipped with various tables and chairs plus a small sofa and TV, upon return from the ski slopes it was also an excellent relaxation area. The manager is super helpful and attentive to the needs of the customers, ready to satisfy our requests. Also recommended for excursions in the area.

Splendid experience, fantastic landscape. First snowfall of the year, beautiful for those who love winter and the mountains. The structure is very nice, a quiet place, from here you can reach all the nearby ski resorts and other places to visit. We had a great time. Experience to repeat.

My partner and I came to this B&B for the first time in 2007. Today, after a gap of 16 years, we returned for the Epiphany weekend with our little boy and found again the warmth, hospitality, and availability of Joseph who, over the years, has made this structure very comfortable thanks to the technology with a magnetic card for entering and exiting without time constraints, free access to the kitchen with a living room where you can cook if you wish, and also a rich buffet for breakfast. The location is optimal because in just 20 minutes you can reach the cable car to Gran Sasso to go up to Campo Imperatore and in 15 minutes you can reach the beautiful Stiffe Caves. I really recommend this property for the excellent value for money and proximity to many points of interest, as well as, of course, for the kindness of the manager. Thank you so much, and see you very soon!

Excellent location, all the excursions we did were between 15 and 30 minutes away. Quiet place and owner ready to meet our every request at any time. Rich and varied breakfast. Also worth trying in winter given the distance from the facilities (cable car to Fonte Cerreto for Campo Imperatore in 15 minutes). We will be back.

Located a quarter of an hour from the center of L'Aquila, in an excellent position to visit all the surrounding places. Possibility of using the kitchen and a small pool to cool off. The managers are very kind.

When we booked, we noticed that it was not a structure with too many pretensions, but the positive reviews on cleanliness convinced us. However, unfortunately, I find myself forced to contradict the positive judgments I read. To tell the truth, the owner, Joseph, is a very helpful person and you can see that he cares about hospitality: he gave us useful advice on places to visit. However, the rest leaves much to be desired! Firstly, the bathroom lacked a bidet, replaced by an uncomfortable hand shower. But, up to this point, it can be overlooked. What left me bitter is the general cleanliness, which, instead of compensating for the fact that the structure evidently needs modernization (the doors are still those '80s style), negatively highlights its dated appearance: in fact, while the floors were quite clean, the furnishings were dirty and dusty (I only mention the lampshade, a real cluster of dust, or the small bathroom hairdryer, whose wire was gray instead of white), and, moreover, old dusty carpets did not make life pleasant for me as I am allergic, so much so that I asked for their removal. The only positive note: the towels were changed daily, upon request. Another sore point is breakfast: there were only packaged industrial products (snacks, yogurt, juices, and cookies) of poor quality, so much so that we preferred to go to a nearby bar. And I don't think it's a Covid-related issue: in these two years, I have been to many structures in the same price range that have offered high-quality and artisanal products, maybe in single or differentiated portions per room! I specify that, for the kindness of the owner, I am sorry to have to write this review, which in many ways is more euphemistic than the experience lived, but being kind is not enough to make a structure that wants to be welcoming appreciable.

Buongiorno Francesco, apprezzo molto che ha speso il suo tempo per recensire negativamente la nostra struttura. Sinceramente leggere la sua recensione mi ha molto dispiaciuto. Tutti i giorni ci siamo incontrati chiedendole, e anche scrivendole, se andava tutto bene e se aveva necessità di qualsiasi cosa ma, durante l'intero periodo del suo soggiorno, MAI ha sollevato NESSUN PROBLEMA ELENCATO. Anzi tutt'altro! La ringrazio x la stima nei miei confronti, ovviamente reciproca, ma anch'io resto molto amareggiato da quanto leggo. Comunque x correttezza è giusto risponderLa. Ma seriamente le porte stile anni 80 (oltretutto dotate di serrature elettroniche) o l'arredo abbiano turbato così tanto il suo soggiorno come anche tutte le cose da Lei riscontrate? Idem x la pulizia. Perché ha chiesto la rimozione dei tappeti SOLAMENTE L'ULTIMO GIORNO di permanenza e non da subito? Erano già sporchi o si sono sporcati durante la sua permanenza? Non poteva sollevare da subito il problema? Apro parentesi. Per correttezza non gliel'ho detto tanto il "danno" era già stato compiuto, ma visto che ha sollevato diversi "problemi", Le volevo far presente che le scarpe non si lasciano fuori dal corridoio poiché i clienti della stanza di fianco si sono lamentati. La stanza dispone di ben 20 metri di balcone, poteva metterle lì, Però forse non l'avrà notato perché già preso a notare tutt'altro. Torniamo a noi. X quanto riguarda la polvere, perché anche qui NON HA MAI SOLLEVATO IL PROBLEMA? Anche quando ogni qualvolta Le veniva chiesto se andava tutto bene e necessitava di qualsiasi cosa? Bastava dirlo e Le veniva ripulito il tutto con tanto di scuse.. Però a quanto pare NULLA DI QUANTO SCRITTO È MAI STATO SOLLEVATO.. Ha preferito attendere la fine del soggiorno, in silenzio e immerso nella polvere rischiando anche un problema di salute in quanto dice di essere allergico. Preciso che giornalmente come ha potuto notare, le veniva ripulita la stanza con anche il cambio di biancheria giornaliero e sinceramente tutto questo accumulo di polvere non l'ho MAI notato! Per essere chiari e rispondere alle sue attente osservazioni è giusto precisare che: Il bidet, nei bagni in camera, per questioni di spazio, non è presente (come riportato chiaramente anche nel sito) ma in compenso è fornito da una comoda doccetta bidet e molto apprezzata da tutti. La colazione a Lei dolente: (anche questo chiaramente riportato sul sito).. È a buffet come ha potuto constatare, con una varietà di prodotti a disposizione (freschi e secchi) di note marche commerciali (che per Lei sono di scarsa qualità) che purtroppo, ANCHE SE NON LE SEMBRERÀ VERO, la normativa, A NOI STRUTTURE EXTRALBERGHIERE, IMPONE di fornire solo alimenti monodose confezionati singolarmente E SOPRATTUTTO in questo periodo difficile con restrizioni ancora più rigide. Lo sappiamo benissimo che sono passati due anni di Covid, ma la normativa che piaccia o meno, esiste e, per la tutela dei nostri clienti, preferisco rispettarla!! (Le dia una letta! La trova facilmente in rete). Poi se è andato in altre strutture e ha trovato altro, mi fa piacere, però screditare un servizio offerto, apprezzato dalla maggior parte dei clienti e soprattutto RIPORTATO CHIARAMENTE sul sito e nel riepilogo della prenotazione, secondo me non è corretto. Il letto matrimoniale, è vero, nella camera da Lei prenotata (camera Tripla Deluxe con balcone) è composto di due letti singoli uniti. (Anche questo riportato chiaramente sul sito web). Poi se i materassi "bassi e duri" non sono stati di suo gradimento, questi purtroppo sono gusti personali. Se preferiva un comodo letto matrimoniale, abbiamo a disposizione diverse stanze con letto matrimoniale. Bastava richiederlo in fase di prenotazione e le proponevo una soluzione più adatta alla sue esigenze. In conclusione: ha ragione. la nostra struttura come ha notato non è il Grand Hotel e non ha troppe pretese però siamo orgogliosi di offrire un servizio adeguato x i nostri clienti cercando di metterci impegno e passione al fine di rendere il soggiorno piacevole e apprezzato dai nostri clienti che hanno lasciato recensioni positive nei vari principali portali turistici e ha anche avuto modo di verificare. Un mio consiglio: visto che è un attento osservatore e un ottimo Hotel tester; la prossima volta che sceglie una struttura, non si faccia convincere solamente dalle recensioni, ma osservare bene in dettaglio cosa sta prenotando, facendo molta attenzione ai servizi, al tipo di colazione offerta, all'arredo della struttura (soprattutto lo stile delle porte), alla tipologia dei letti ed altri dettagli a Lei essenziali, così da non trovarsi insodisfatto e trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno senza poi screditare chi lavora e ci mette passione offrendo un servizio gradito dal 99% dei clienti. Inoltre se riscontra dei problemi durante il soggiorno, lo faccia presente fin da subito. È un suo diritto! Non dica tutto ok e poi si sfoga sul web. Buon proseguimento.

Invaluable availability and courtesy of the owner of the 'Camere Aurora' who followed and advised us from the moment of booking to check-out. Fair prices and well-organized structure. We recommend only for the double bed to use a single double mattress rather than two singles. Otherwise everything went very well. We recommend it!

Excellent availability of both managers, courtesy and almost maniacal cleanliness of the environments. Equipped kitchen. Breakfast with a wide choice. Spacious, functional and well-lit rooms. The structure is strategically located to reach the most interesting naturalistic, environmental sites and mountains (Fonte Cerreto - Campo Imperatore, Lago di Campotosto, Rocca di Cambio, Rocca di Mezzo). Well served by FS and TUA's bus lines. A serene and efficient family management enlivened by the beautiful, friendly, and sunny daughters. We will return as soon as possible.

Siamo rimasti soddisfatti di tutto. Posizione, pulizia, facilità nel raggiungere la struttura con satellitare, però manca un cartello sulla strada principale che segnali la struttura, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. La colazione abbondantissima, personalmente mi sarebbe piaciuto del pane del luogo - infatti abbiamo mangiato le ferratele e il pane, più che i dolci. Però nulla da eccepire. Cortese anche l'accoglienza.

La struttura supera le aspettative per pulizia e arredi a disposizione; la colazione con tutte le attenzioni per ogni esigenza (vegani e celiaci) ed il frigo fornitissimo; i gestori disponibilissimi, accoglienti e discreti; il posto tranquillo, silenzioso e rilassante.
