Our B&B is located in an area known for its spa waters and facilities (Terme di Vicarello) at Sutri art and culture location, in an area of great history, architecture and culture, in a quiet, panoramic setting, in the heart of the city. Il Seminario is a great stop over for pilgrims on their Via Francigena. From Canterbury (like us) to Rome. The rooms are huge and really are a small apartment inwhich you can cook as well. It is outdated and oldfashioned but therefor also very charming. The owners/caretakers are very nice people but as they do speak Italian only, it is very difficult to communicate with them. You can still feel the former presence of men who wanted to become a priest in this former seminarium which used to be a smalltown palace as well with its own church (now a perfect bakery). The breakfast provided consisted of the sweet Italian type (unfortunately) but having a kitchen, a bakery and a great alimentari nearby we were able to make and have a hearty breakfast by ourselves. Unfortunately no wifi/internet access.

Il B&B "Il Seminario" è situato in una posizione davvero unica: la piazza principale di Sutri, l'antico foro cittadino. In più il B&B è costituito da due veri e propri appartamenti: quello occupato da noi è formato da due camere, sala con angolo cottura e bagno. I gestori sono gentilissimi e molto ospitali: tra l'altro ci hanno permesso di lasciare gli zaini nell'atrio fino alla tarda mattinata del giorno della partenza, consentendoci così di visitare le bellezze di Sutri in tutta comodità. Parte degli arredi forse non è sempre adatta a un luogo utilizzato a rotazione da tante e diverse persone: scrivo questo perché così com'è arredato il B&B è difficile da tenere in perfetto ordine. Ma questa è l'unica "pecca" del "Seminario".

I gestori, la signora Dina ed il signor Igino, sono stati (devo dirlo) premurosi ed amorevoli sin dal mio arrivo. Ben oltre i doveri di un gestore. La sistemazione è stata più che ottima e posso consigliarla a tutti.

Ho alloggiato in questa struttura per due notti ad Agosto. La posizione è ottima e i gestori veramente disponibili. La struttura è molto funzionale e accogliente. Ci ritornerei sicuramente, ed è per questo che la consiglio!
