Our stay was one night long. It is a beautiful place and has a lot of charm. It is reachable only by car and about 10 kilometers away from the beautiful city of Lucca. Very kind and friendly host. unfortunately it was extremely hot during our stay, which made us change the place for the following night. I might return but in another season, the surroundings are nice and I believe it is a great place for hiking and biking.

Very nice staff, plentiful dinner and breakfast, fresh air because surrounded by a garden with trees. A fan was promptly provided upon request, as there was no air conditioning. Downside: Musty bathroom. Could possibly be eliminated by installing a window.

Impressive and very charming historic structure. Rooms that maintain the 'diocesan' style dry and concrete, but with excellent mattresses. Abundant breakfast complete with everything. Excellent quality of the products. Strategic location 10 minutes from Lucca.

The structure is located in a beautiful location, it is clean but lacks air conditioning. The cost of breakfast is high. In the structure there is also a chapel with the possibility of daily Mass. There are always two nuns and a priest present, even though the structure is run by a private individual.

The place is quiet. The rooms are a bit small, about 9 square meters, in addition to the bathroom. If there are two people with luggage, it becomes not very comfortable, but if it's just for sleeping, it's fine. \n\nIt is managed on a family level by very polite and attentive people. Located on the slopes of a hill and immersed in greenery, outside the inhabited center, this place is very suggestive. It strikes for the calm and serenity that is breathed. The rooms are small and spartan, but the bedside table in the form of a kneeler wins over everything. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful historic building, with a welcoming garden. The friendliness and availability of the managers are extreme and the breakfast is plentiful. This is a historic building with its strengths and weaknesses given by the structure. For me, it's beautiful. I prefer a location immersed in the countryside with the peace that follows, rather than a hotel in the city center chaos. If you desire tranquility with polite people and cicadas to accompany you as a soundtrack, I recommend it.

The Casa Diocesana is located in a charming position. The structure is beautiful but excessively spartan for the price. There is still much to improve. A TV, air conditioning, and the possibility to darken the rooms would be needed if you want to leave the windows open.

Buongiorno Signora, si è seduta e gli è stato servito un primo, 1 secondo con contorno, un dessert o frutta comprensivo di acqua e coperto per una spesa complessiva di € 20,00 a persona. Naturalmente i nostri pasti sono serviti a vassoio con le dosi richieste dal cliente e con ll ripasso sempre di ogni portata. Non so se frequenta un qualsivoglia locale, ma le posso assicurare che con € 20,00 non ha un pasto completo e curato come con noi. La cucina è direttamente diretta da mia moglie ed è, come evidente da tutte le altre recensioni, una delle parti della nostra ospitalità con più successo. Grazie per le sue parole e per i complimenti alla nostra struttura.

A kingdom of peace and tranquility, strategically located 10 minutes from Lucca, 30 minutes from the sea and Garfagnana. The food is excellent, genuine and affordable. All run by a family, it really feels like being at home.

Everything very nice. But I suggest a bit of maintenance to the parking lot. The hump is dangerous for low cars, there is a gap between hump and parking lot and the manhole. It's a big risk. For everything else, it's fantastic.

We were welcomed like family, everyone very kind and helpful. We received excellent directions for trips in Garfagnana. An excellent solution for both families and groups. A quiet place surrounded by greenery where relaxation is guaranteed. Excellent location to visit Lucca, Pisa, Garfagnana, and Versilia.

Posizione eccellente sia per il mare che per visitare città d'arte, in zona collinare molto tranquilla e con bellissima vista su Lucca. Grande accoglienza e disponibilità. Sistemazione frugale, ma senza mancanze; ottimi la pulizia e il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Una delle poche strutture che accetta davvero il bonus vacanza.

Posto tranquillo e rilassante, fuori dal paese, immerso nel verde. Mi son portato la bici e fatto parecchi km nei dintorni. Essendo musicista ho apprezzato il pianoforte a muro dei primi del ‘900, bel suono!

L'albergo fa parte di una antica villa, molto bello all'esterno e isolato dalla città di Lucca che non è un difetto. Bisogna fare attenzione sulla strada che porta all'albergo perché a tratti risulta un po' stretta. La colazione è abbondante e di qualità. Il gestore e i suoi collaboratori sono stati molto gentili, pronti a ogni richiesta, simpatici e alla mano. Per quanto riguarda la camera l'abbiamo trovata un po' datata, ma pulita, in ordine, bagno in camera e ben tenuto. L'unica pecca è che non cambiano gli asciugamani al mattino e la stanza è da rifare per conto proprio.

La pulizia come la buona cucina, è al centro del nostro interesse mentre per gli arredi a tratti particolari e non sostituibili, sono il bellissimo e originale frutto della storia secolare della Casa e per questo protetti e catalogati dalle "Belle Arti". Per quanto riguarda il cambio della biancheria (sempre possibile a richiesta) ed il rifacimento della camera, sono una scelta dettata dalla nostra conduzione familiare e dal desiderio di tenere bassi ed accessibili i prezzi nella nostra "Casa per Ferie" con la piccola collaborazione dei nostri ospiti. Grazie, grazie, grazie di tutto e sopratutto del sostegno che con il tuo contributo hai dato affinché questo "sogno" possa continuare a realizzarsi.

Arrivato con le sole pretese di un riparo dove passare la notte ho trovato molto di più. Un gestore gentilissimo. Una stanza singola perfetta con bagno, wi-fi velocissimo e una tranquillità che mi ha permesso di riposare perfettamente. Sveglia il giorno dopo con una colazione a dir poco fantastica e il panorama dopo esser uscito per strada ha completato il quadretto. Fermata dell'autobus a due centimetri dallo stabile e via verso Lucca. Lo consiglio vivamente anche perché se ne avrò l'occasione ci tornerò di certo.
