The efficiency apartment was in a safe location near the train station and bus transportation. You could also walk (25 minutes) to the center of Florence or other sites. The breakfast from the nearby cafe (two pastries and coffee/water) was available at 6:30 and was delicious! The room was clean and neat and roomy. (It could use some TLC). Really liked (and used) the kitchenette and a fridge! I would definitely and highly recommend this bnb.

It was a very enjoyable stay at 'Affittacamere Porta San Frediano' because we had access to many facilities such as bars, restaurants, transportation, and even a supermarket. The owner was very kind, and I was extremely satisfied with his service. As for the room, everything was enjoyable, and we even had a balcony, but it could be cleaner. For the rest, a great deal.

Die Unterkunft ist in Florzenz zentral gelegen, sehr ruhig und mit einem großzügigen, sauberen Raum und Bad. Die Möglichkeit sich in einer Gemeinschaftsküche selber etwas zu kochen ist sehr nützlich. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und verabschiedet. Das einfache Frühstück in einem Café ist typisch italienisch. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

The accommodation is well located to reach the center in 20 minutes. It is a bit old-fashioned but clean and functional. The owner is very friendly, had no problem with us arriving late. He informed us very well about everything we asked. It's a pleasure to meet people like him. Breakfast is 2 minutes away. They offer homemade sweets and also provide the option of savory. I would definitely recommend it.

The place is perfect. The room is spacious and with a very good bathroom, air conditioning - essential because we had 40 degrees of heat - the manager's attention is very good and the breakfast is perfect.

Excellent structure, clean and welcoming! The center of Florence is about a kilometer away, but easily reachable with a walk. The owner, Marco, is an excellent host. The breakfast served in the pastry shop in front is excellent and plentiful. If we were to return to Florence, we would definitely choose this place again. Thank you.

The room was not the one shown in the picture with a loft but much smaller because it was not available. Dirty common balcony, broken shutter that did not close, no room cleaning/bed remaking between one night and the next and no towel change. For two nights it was fine for us because ultimately it had a very good location very close to the center, the owner was kind and available for any information needed, the breakfast was good in the pastry shop in front. Perhaps a bit expensive in terms of value for money, but for touring and seeing the city for 2 or 3 days it's more than fine.

Great structure. The manager is very kind and friendly. He provided us with very useful tips for our visit to Florence. The location is convenient considering the price offered. The only flaw, unfortunately very evident and uncomfortable, was the lack of cleanliness in the room and, especially, in the kitchen. It was impossible to cook there. Apart from that, we had a great time.

Structure located in the San Frediano district about 20 minutes walk from the center. The neighborhood is full of restaurants, bars, small craft shops, antique shops and art galleries, despite this the location is peaceful. Abundant breakfast served in the bar very close to the property. Marco, the manager, is kind, friendly and helpful with useful advice. Very satisfied. Excellent value for money.

We had a more than pleasant stay! The b&b is located in a quiet area just outside the center but easily reachable on foot in 10 minutes. Mr. Marco is very kind and super helpful, also the breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend!

After having done some research on the internet and stayed at the Affittacamere Porta San Frediano, I must say I made an excellent choice. Away from the chaos but very close to various points, economical, and with the possibility to cook. What else to say? One negative thing? The lack of a bidet.

Marco was very helpful and showed us what to visit, where to eat. From the structure, you can walk to the city center in 20 minutes, very convenient. Clean room equipped with a kitchenette with fridge, stove, sink, cutlery, dish drainer, and table. We will definitely come back.

Located in the borgo San Frediano, beautiful neighborhood full of bars, restaurants, wine bars, and artisan shops. The center of Florence is very easy to reach. Marco is very kind and helpful in meeting us both for check-in and check-out. We were greeted by his parents, wonderful, kind, and very friendly, they made us laugh a lot and showed us the best itineraries to visit Florence. The Affittacamere Porta San Frediano is clean and tidy, equipped with everything. Delicious breakfast in the pastry shop in front of the building. Thank you for the hospitality, we will definitely come back.

Mr. Marco was extremely kind, he waited for us upon arrival and also gave us good advice on what to see in Florence and where to eat traditional foods with an excellent quality/price ratio. Excellent breakfast. The location of the property allowed us to discover and experience a part of Florence that is perhaps less touristy but more authentic. On the day of departure, we were able to leave our luggage in storage until the afternoon, free of charge. In conclusion, a structure definitely worth recommending and a thank you to Mr. Marco.

The room is perfect for a couple who want to spend a few days in peace in Florence. You must be willing to walk a bit to reach the center, but this is also a plus: it gives you the opportunity to explore an area outside the chaos of the more central streets or closer to the station.

Struttura situata in casa d'epoca, ben tenuta, ben servita dai mezzi pubblici, vicina al centro storico. Punto ideale come base per escursioni anche alle altre importanti città toscane quali Siena, Pisa. San Gimignano etc. Parcheggio auto a pagamento nelle immediate vicinanze, convenzionato con la struttura. Il gestore Sig. Marco è persona cordialissima e attenta alle esigenze dei clienti. Siamo stati contenti del soggiorno, grazie.

Ottima soluzione per breve soggiorno. In zona tranquilla con posti auto e moto gratuiti. 15 minuti a piedi da Ponte Vecchio. Pulito, ordinato e gestore gentilissimo per l'accoglienza in mattinata e per le informazioni. La colazione compresa nel prezzo si consuma presso una pasticceria di fronte. Consigliato.

Abbiamo soggiornato 5 notti in occasione del festival Firenze Rocks: struttura ottima, stanza pulita e con tutto il necessario; il gestore Marco e i suoi genitori gentilissimi e molto disponibili, anche negli imprevisti. Ottimo B&B, lo consigliamo caldamente per chi vuole visitare Firenze.

Situato in una palazzina storica del caratteristico rione di San Frediano a 10 minuti a piedi da ponte vecchio e a 50 metri dalla fermata dell'autobus 6b che vi porterà in centro in un batter d'occhio. Punto forte della struttura è il "grande" Marco, il gestore del B&B che vi istruirà su come visitare, dove mangiare e qualsiasi cosa voi abbiate bisogno su Firenze e dintorni. Vi consiglio di fare la Firenze card che vi farà vivere la città in un modo diverso evitando code nei musei ed evitando di avere il portafoglio sempre in mano per i vari biglietti. Colazione al bar sotto casa con dolcetti appena sfornati golosissimi accompagnati da cappuccio o caffè. Noi abbiamo passato quattro notti indimenticabili. Ciao Marco!

Sono rientrata ieri da un fine settimana a Firenze con mio marito e mio figlio e ho soggiornato in questo confortevole B&B dove il titolare, Marco, è stato gentile e disponibile ci ha aspettato in quanto il nostro volo era in notevole ritardo. Ci ha fornito una mappa della città e di indicazioni utili al nostro soggiorno. Da consigliare sicuramente per la pulizia e il rapporto qualità prezzo.
