Our B&B is placed by the sea, overlooking beaches and lido facilities ('Lido La Romantica', 'Lido Sayonara', 'Spiaggia Schisò', 'Lido Naxos'...) rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a quiet, panoramic setting, in the historic heart of the city. "Porta Del Vento" is elegant design with attention to detail.

Our location and the surrounding area offer our guests a chance to stroll and shop in the shopping streets, take in countless cultural events and unique exhibitions, exploring museums and exhibition areas, wander amid the scents and sounds of the area's many gardens.

Last but not least, remember that our strategic location makes us easy to reach from the nearby motorway 'Autostrada A18'.

In our table, you will find a typical Italian breakfast that is mostly sweet. We serve homemade jams and cakes, croissants with any flavor you desire, and the famous fried ravioli with sweet ricotta. For those who also like salty foods (ham, cheese, eggs) there is a payment of a small daily extra per person. We also offer coffee, cappuccino, tea, fresh bread, butter, cheese toast, biscuits, and seasonal organic fruit that we gather directly from our orchard at the foot of Mount Etna. For the Suite, breakfast and daily cleaning are not included in the rental, as it is an independent studio apartment. Cleaning is done between one customer and the next.

We just spent two weeks at “Porta del Vento”. Everything was perfect. The property is a lovely house, located near the beach and very conveniently positioned near all the major attractions and restaurants. Each room is spacious and well appointed. Linens and towels are of high quality, as is the bathroom and toiletries, and the housekeeping is great. Breakfast was excellent and fresh every day. The hosts are convivial, charming and attentive while giving visitors total independence. We would recommend this to anybody traveling in the area, and we would definitely stay here again.

Dario and his family were excellent hosts. We spoke no Italian and his whole family made every effort to communicate with us throughout our stay. Dario provided a booklet of activities to do in the local area and helped us organise trips, one of the best being to see Mount Etna with his friend Luca. The B&B is right beside the beach and ideally located right beside several bus services. The room was super clean and you have use of a living area to which was an added bonus. Breakfast was fab, with freshly baked cakes and we tried the pistachio croissants. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Familie, die uns viele gute Tipps gab. Ein schönes B&B in guter Lage nah Catania, Taormina und Aetna. Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit mehreren selbstgemachten Marmeladen und jeden Tag frische Croissants vom Bäcker. Schöne Zimmer. In allem sehr empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank Dario und vielen Dank nochmal an die Mutter für das leckere Frühstück!

For a 4-day stopover in Giardini Naxos, we stayed at this wonderful property that satisfied us in every way. I must mention that I cannot evaluate the breakfast because we stayed in the independent suite without breakfast, providing for it independently. As for all other aspects, the judgment is extremely positive: strict and accurate cleanliness, spacious room furnished with taste, a truly large wardrobe, a neat, modern and comfortable bathroom, and a fully efficient kitchen. Above all, Elisa was patient and professional, both during the booking phase and on the day of our arrival, making herself available immediately. For the positive and very pleasant experience, I can only recommend without a doubt the Porta del Vento.

Everything perfect, Elisa is an excellent homeowner, very kind and helpful. The area is very central, which gives you the opportunity to avoid renting a car, also because it is well connected to other tourist locations with efficient and frequent buses. Thank you Elisa for your hospitality.

I can say that even though it was only for a few days, we had a great time. The lady welcomed us with a smile, which is essential, also advising us on places and restaurants to eat, giving us the opportunity to take away and consume it in the b&b, using the appliances we needed. The breakfast was to our liking and very rich. The location is quite good, allowing us to move around on foot both during the day and in the evening.

Elisa la proprietaria, assieme alla Signora Alba e suo marito Pippo, sono persone speciali, sempre pronti lì a coccolarti e a farti sentire a casa in qualunque momento della tua giornata, dalla colazione ricca di prodotti siciliani, frutta fresca di stagione, rigorosamente offerta dal loro frutteto o dai boschi vicini e di torte e marmellate preparate con cura e amore dalla Signora Alba, ai pomeriggi in terrazza a conversare piacevolmente su tutto e prender fresco insieme in pieno relax, alla piena ed inesauribile disponibilità a soddisfare ogni esigenza dei loro ospiti. La loro posizione è perfetta perché centralissima, affacciata sul mare e sul tratto di costa più affascinante e romantica che si desideri, con Taormina illuminatissima sulla sinistra e il porto turistico a destra, e tranquilla perché parallela alla via di maggior concentrazione del traffico e della movida notturna, da cui la struttura é perfettamente insonorizzata. Una vacanza meravigliosa.. ancora una volta.

Ho soggiornato in questo splendido B&B con mia figlia dal 26 agosto al 6 settembre. Attaccato al mare, comodo ai servizi, pulitissimo. Fantastica la colazione con tutte le prelibatezze preparate dalla signora Alba, che con la sua compagnia e simpatia ci ha fatte sentire a casa. Ringraziamo tutta la famiglia per la splendida vacanza e per la loro disponibilità, nonché per tutti gli utili consigli che ci hanno fornito. Torneremo sicuramente molto presto.

La struttura si trova in una posizione molto centrale vicinissima al mare. La gestione è molto familiare ed la proprietaria è molto affabile e disponibile. Le camere non mancano del necessario e sono dotate anche di condizionamento. La colazione è molto varia. La difficoltà di parcheggio è ovviata da una convenzione con un parcheggio posto nelle vicinanze che consente con costi accessibili di lasciare l'auto in sosta 24/24h; è consigliabile avvisare il gestore del B&B all'atto della prenotazione in modo da non trovarsi sprovvisti del parcheggio.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa bella villa disposta su tre piani, il primo adibito a B&B con una bella sala a disposizione una cucina sempre aperta e ben fornita, terrazzi in comune e anche privati, a due passi dal mare, visibile dalla camera, e dal lungomare del passeggio. Il tutto immerso in un ambiante famigliare che ci faceva sentire a nostro agio, con belle chiaccherate mattutine e consigli sempre validi per noi turisti. Abbiamo trovato il meglio che potevamo aspettarci, bella posizione, casa pulita e ordinata, gustose colazioni, e soprattutto un ottima accoglienza. Un bel ricordo e un B&B da consigliare.

Per tre giorni mi sono ritrovato in famiglia, coccolato, guidato nelle mete turistiche, consigliato nei ristoranti. Colazione buonissima ed abbondante con paste alla ricotta appena sfornate. Se tornerò a Giardini Naxos so già dove alloggiare.

Ospitalità eccellente, calda e discreta. Posizione strategica nel centro della città, fronte lungomare, facilità di parcheggio. Camera accogliente e pulita; colazione nell' ampio soggiorno arredato con gusto. Eccellenti le marmellate confezionate dalla mamma della signora Elisa. Sembra di stare a casa propria. Non è facile pensare di riuscire a sentirsi a casa a così tanta distanza, ma casa è dove c'e calore, umanità', partecipazione e alla Porta del Vento è casa. Ambiente raffinato e di piena comodità cone stanze ricercate con tutto quello che può servire a chi vuole avere un nido da cui spiccare il volo per tutte le meraviglie che attorniano Giardini Naxos. L'ambiente è gestito in piena accoglienza, con umanità e la possibilità di confrontarsi su svariati argomenti, dopo una giornata itinerante ricordo con affetto le chiacchiere fatte sul balcone annusando il mare. Pieno encomio alla gestione e all'ambiente che uno può ostinarsi a chiamare solo B&B, ma a cui io do il nome di casa.
