The rooms are acceptable, however the noise from the street is unbearable. I couldn't sleep at all... constant traffic, noisy people. The street is too busy. The bathroom should be taken care of and drains cleaned and the water doesn't go down while taking a shower.

All of our en suite accommodations have openings to the garden, not the street. We suggest to light sleepers to choose one of these. Thank you for the notice about the drains: Trapani has wonderful beaches and drains get occasionally clogged due to the sand brought in by guests. We will check and fix it immediately.

I spent here a great vacation with my mom. Everything was good: host is friendly and always careful to guests, answered all our questions about accommodation and the city. Rooms are cosy and clean, there are everything I needed expect of iron (I asked it personally). House is nice and very atmospheric! I really liked it a lot. There are good breakfasts every morning with local food: milk, cheese, butter, snacks, bread, coffee, fruit. If you have such meal in the morning, so you don't need to eat til midday. The city center can be reached within a 20-minute walk or a few stops by public transport. Place is also friendly to vegeterian people, as I understood. Grazie mille!

The Novecento B&B is a place I will never forget, largely in part to its kind and friendly owner and the things that staying there allowed me to experience. I would recommend Novecento for many reasons. One friend even changed the place he was staying on his first night in Trapani to the Novecento. He has told me that it was a good decision. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the location means exploring on foot or by bicycle (provided) is possible with ease. Breakfast was always a feast, with plenty to go around. There is a good atmosphere in this place. I am grateful for having stayed here.

Ignazio was an exceptional host, always in contact with us when we needed. The stay was very pleasant, in our case we had a shared bathroom, there were 2 and they were super clean, and they were never occupied. We were very comfortable so I would recommend the accommodation to other people.

The structure is located in a degraded area of the city, far from the center, and occupies an apartment inside a poorly maintained condominium building. You enter through an anonymous entrance, and overall the impression that the context conveys is one of unpleasant decay. The rooms' floors are covered with tiles that must have been very beautiful at one time, but now are worn and uneven. There is no air conditioning, but a ceiling fan that excellently solved the problem of the intense August heat. The room had a large terrace, but overlooking the aforementioned surrounding context. There is a refrigerator available to guests in the common room for water and fruit. The owner is a polite person, but the check-in and check-out procedures are cumbersome, and the luggage deposit, although provided, is a dusty corridor open to everyone. The big disappointment was the difference between the photos published on the website and the price requested, over 100 euros for a single room, which suggested a good structure and what I actually found upon arrival.

Ha effettuato una prenotazione last minute, con sole 48 ore di preavviso, per una camera il 14 agosto, durante l'alta stagione. Questa camera era disponibile a causa di una cancellazione ed era una camera doppia uso singola (DUS), più costosa di una camera singola. Il prezzo pagato è stato di 95 euro, non oltre i 100 euro come afferma. Nonostante la sua insoddisfazione, riteniamo che questo sia un prezzo adeguato per una camera doppia in altissima stagione. La nostra struttura non si trova in una zona degradata: è situata in via Pepoli, una continuazione della via Fardella, la principale arteria stradale della città. Questa è una zona commercialmente vivace con attività aperte giorno e notte, ed è sicura, pulita e ben illuminata. La struttura dista 2,5 km dal centro storico, il che consente di evitare le restrizioni al traffico e i costi dei parcheggi in centro. Inoltre, la struttura è ben collegata al centro e al porto attraverso 3 linee di autobus. Offriamo anche biciclette gratuite ai nostri ospiti per spostarsi in città in modo sostenibile. Non riusciamo a capire perché lei abbia trovato complicata la procedura di check-in e check-out. Il check-in viene effettuato di persona, come richiesto dalla legge, e può richiedere solo pochi minuti per l'identificazione e la registrazione degli ospiti, oppure può trasformarsi in una conversazione piacevole durante la quale vengono fornite informazioni sulla città e i suoi dintorni. Tuttavia, nel suo caso, visto che era qui per lavoro e solo per una notte, non ha richiesto alcuna informazione. Per quanto riguarda il check-out, non richiede formalità particolari: chiediamo agli ospiti di lasciare le chiavi in camera e chiudere la porta quando più gli aggrada. Siamo felici che abbia apprezzato l'efficacia del sistema di ventilazione anche durante il caldo intenso di ferragosto e la invitiamo a tornare a trovarci durante la media stagione, quando Trapani mostra il suo lato migliore ai visitatori.

Wonderful location to experience true Sicilian life (we took the Titta with terrace access, enjoying pleasant summer evenings with a pizza or a drink). The room had every comfort and, thanks to the fan, we did not suffer from the heat (so the absence of air conditioning is not a problem at all). On the second day of our stay, the towels were changed and the room was cleaned. The owner is very kind and helpful (we needed a bottle opener and just had to ask). The common room is equipped with a microwave and fridge, however, there are no dishes, cups, or cutlery of any kind. Free rental bikes are available with a deposit of €25 each. The bikes could be useful if you don't want to walk or take public transport, however, we also enjoyed moving around on foot as the surrounding area is well provided with supermarkets, bars, bus stops, cable cars, etc. I would say it is the perfect location if you want to be close to the city center and the sea, but not too close. 100% positive experience!

The structure is hosted in an ancient building, when you walk the floor vibrates, typical of very old constructions. Breakfast is not provided, so there is no water and coffee available. The windows are still the old wooden ones that let drafts and noises pass through, the latter being very intrusive. If you want to rest, you might have some difficulties. The bathrooms are far from the bedrooms, so there is little privacy and it's often cold if you don't dress in the bathroom, which is also uncomfortable. There are too many keys to keep, one for the main door, one for the front door, one for the room, and one for the electricity. The only positive note is the location, within a few meters you can find everything, from the market to the appliance store. I would recommend the owner to install soundproof windows, renovate the furniture that seems to have remained in the '40s-'50s, and offer more services to guests to compensate for the inconveniences.

Il B&B è ricavato in una ex villa siciliana del 1871, l'arredamento è in stile primo novecento, da cui il nome. Dalle camere con bagno condiviso, per accedere ai bagni è necessario attraversare la sala, poco meno di 4 metri. Ma abbiamo anche camere con bagno interno. L'acqua le è stata offerta gratuitamente al suo arrivo, come la possibilità di conservarla al fresco nel frigorifero della sala, ad esclusiva disposizione degli ospiti. Le porte, con relative serrature a chiave unica, garantiscono, insieme alla presenza dell'host che vive sul posto, la sicurezza dei nostri ospiti. Ringraziandola per i suggerimenti, ci auguriamo di poterla ospitare ancora.

Quando posso, viaggio molto e per lo più per piacere... In questa occasione ho soggiornato per qualche giorno in una camera doppia per visitare per la millesima volta i luoghi incantevoli di quelle zone. Il b&b è ubicato in una zona comoda per quel che riguarda bar, supermercati, negozi, panifici, ristoranti, pizzerie, tutti a costi contenuti. Per raggiungere il centro, bisogna fare una bella camminata... per i più pigri basta prendere la macchina (parcheggiata tranquillamente e gratuitamente sotto il b&b) e la via per il centro è facilmente percorribile perché è tutta dritta. La pulizia della camera è stata notevole, un po' meno quella di sedie e tavoli messi a disposizione sul terrazzo... in più la struttura non presenta alcuna possibilità per stendere asciugamani o roba bagnata. Il proprietario, Ignazio è stato gentile e cortese, e le nostre richieste sono state esaudite con prontezza, come dei cuscini in più e il phon che non trovi in camera, un piccolo errore che può essere perdonato data l'esperienza complessiva possa dirsi piacevole. La stanza non prestava aria condizionata, ma un ventilazione al tetto, comoda per chi soffre di cervicale. Pensiero personale che non è una critica, al b&b sembra mancare un tocco femminile... fiori, colori, quadri o piccolezze come anche uno stendino o un semplice bicchiere per poter riscaldare dell'acqua o del latte dato che c'è un microonde. In conclusione il soggiorno in generale è stato lusinghiero in modo da non lasciarti ossessionare dai dettagli minori e irrilevanti.

Un bell'appartamento, con camere spaziose e bagno comodo. Facile da raggiungere, è su un viale che porta dall'autostrada in centro. Garage di fianco alla struttura, di notte potevo lasciare la moto dentro. Colazione buona.

Novecento è un B&B con una solida tradizione alle spalle, votato al rispetto degli animali e dell'ambiente. Aperto nel 2005, ha sempre seguito i principi del turismo responsabile, cercando di minimizzare la sua impronta ecologica. Per questa ragione non offre aria condizionata ma climatizzazione con pale a soffitto, una ricca e completa colazione a buffet rigorosamente vegetariana (vegan su richiesta), ospita gratuitamente gli animali, fornisce ai propri ospiti biciclette in noleggio gratuito e adotta una serie di misure per l'eliminazione degli sprechi d'acqua e di energia.

Siamo stati in questa struttura per tre notti e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La camera molto spaziosa e pulita, un salotto in condivisione come il bagno. Ottima la colazione con prodotti freschi e vari, tutte le mattine frutta fresca, marmellate e un ottimo pane di Castelvetrano, il tutto accompagnato da musica jazz. Un grazie al proprietario, persona squisita, discreta e gentile. Assolutamente consigliato.
