Rifugio Urbano

Urban Refuge ideally located for those who want to discover Turin on foot without having to use a vehicle. Relatively quiet neighborhood (I was there during the week, I did not test it on the weekend). Spacious room (might be missing a small storage like a closet...) and functional common area. Nice decoration with lots of small details (thank you notes, etc.). Clean bathroom. Simone's welcoming smile and very friendly. For a first contact with an Italian during a first stay in Italy, this reassures.

The Urban Shelter is really well located, both for getting there by car and for walking around the city or taking public transport. \nThe place is quiet for sleeping, the bed very comfortable and it's very clean. \nSimone is very accommodating and helpful. \nI will keep the address preciously to come back.

The place you didn't know you needed until you spent at least one night there. Then it will be hard to leave! A gem in the shadow of the Mole, managed by a super host like Andrea.

Before our arrival, Andrea asked us about our sightseeing program. Thanks to his availability and his white "limousine", he allowed us to go to the Museum of Contemporary Art at the Rivoli Castle. A difficult situation if you arrive by train. The establishment is warm (not just because of the heating) but above all for the human warmth. It was a completely accidental discovery under the Mole, so right in the center. In about 5 minutes of walking, you can reach Piazza Castello and from there you can start any visit. It's like being at your own home in terms of space utilization and as a gathering point with other guests. Getting up and having breakfast with strangers who, chatting together, exchange opinions, memories, impressions, and suggestions... I think it's an effective antidepressant.\n\nAndrea was exceptional, I had never had the opportunity to have dinner with a Host exchanging thoughts and confidences... it felt like being in another dimension (sharing your personal stories with a stranger? When ever). He recommended places where we ate amazing farinata and pizza and dishes from the Piedmontese cuisine with an excellent price/quality ratio.\n\nThe room was exactly as described and asserted by Andrea, no surprises and above all it reflected my expectations and tastes. The private bathroom was adequate and very clean. Andrea is a super expert and precise HACCP manager. A livable terrace that we couldn't fully enjoy due to the temperatures that left us speechless in the evening (looking up and seeing the illuminated Mole in blue).\n\nThe kitchen was usable at any time. Always available excellent homemade biscuits and rusks. An amazing gianduia cream and a delicious apple and peach juice. All fair trade products. Eating and drinking with the awareness that behind the taste and quality, there is a meaning that Andrea and Simone have decided to embrace, that they see me by their side and that I share. The only problem is that sooner or later you are forced to go home... but it's a sincere and friendly way to plan another trip to Turin.\n\nHi Andrea see you soon.

If you want to stay in Turin and feel at home, you absolutely must book here. Located in the center and very convenient for visiting Turin and its beauties. Highly recommended.

Simply feeling at home, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In a medical emergency, I was promptly and incredibly kindly helped. Rifugio Urbano is an oasis of peace in the bustling historic center of Turin, quiet and full of history. I will definitely come back.

Well, we felt at home.

We had a great time! The exceptional location, really close to everything, a privileged starting point for every tourist destination. Andrea welcomed us with great availability and was always present for every need or advice. The structure is really beautiful and particular, and it really feels like being at home in another city. Everything extremely clean! Many restaurants and services nearby. \nThis accommodation made our stay in Turin perfect.

I am extremely happy to have met this beautiful house where you feel free and peaceful. In the center of Turin, a corner of Peace and wonderful souls with whom you can exchange, if you want, reflections on life. Magical manager Andrea, wonderful Simone. \nI will come back if I were to return to Turin. Under the MOLE you feel protected. Beautiful experience, I highly recommend it for those who love a little terrace inside the walls to enjoy the evening light.

The owner and manager of the Bed and Breakfast is a precise and very honest person. The location is in a strategic position (under the Mole Antonelliana) that allows you to reach the streets of the historic center on foot. The room is well-kept, bright, clean, and equipped with comfort. Ideal for those who want to spend a peaceful weekend immersed in the magic of Turin! Highly recommended.

Right in the heart of the city: literally under the Mole! Easy to reach even on foot from the station and a very convenient point of reference for visiting the city. Even the common areas are very well-kept and clean, my room even had an exit to the balcony with a view of the Mole: perfect for an evening read. Simone is super kind and helpful, gave me very useful advice: I will definitely keep his business card for the next trips to Turin and recommend this place to everyone.

I stayed at the Rifugio Urbano during the Lovers Film Festival and I couldn't have found a better accommodation in terms of location and comfort. The perfect place to be close to the center (more than close, I would say immersed) without having to sacrifice comfort and space. A true city refuge. The interior of the structure is very welcoming and feels like home. The rooms are comfortable and tidy. The owner is friendly and helpful, and there are no limitations as one often encounters in hotels. I will definitely return to Rifugio Urbano if I need to stay in Turin again!

I had a great time thanks to Simone. Beautiful, clean house on 2 floors, colorful, ethnic, unique. The huge plant named Giuseppe was lovely, I will never forget it. The kitchen was beautiful, beds were comfortable. Simone, you are nice, thanks for the tips about Turin. I will come back to you. Regarding breakfast, personally I cannot give the maximum because I prefer salty food while my children have Nesquik, Nutella, or cereals in the morning. See you soon.

Rifugio Urbano is a magical place in the heart of the city, inside the environment is very comfortable and is taken care of in every corner by the owner Simone, very kind and very helpful! Even the Mole view definitely increases the charm of the structure, excellent location. Struttura situata in posizione centrale con vista Mole, facilmente raggiungibile senza utilizzo dei mezzi. Proprietario gentile e disponibile.

Location perfetta di fianco alla Mole, palazzo e appartamento molto carino e caratteristico. Simone molto disponibile e gentile. Base ideale per scoprire la città.

Ho alloggiato una notte presso il rifugio urbano, che dire, posizione invidiabile proprio sotto la mole al centro di Torino, il proprietario, Simone, gentilissimo e con una capacità unica di metterti a tuo agio e farti sentire a casa, super disponibile e sempre pronto a rispondere alle tue esigenze. Camera pulita ed ordinata così come il bagno condiviso con l'altra stanza. La colazione molto casalinga ma ha ciò che serve ed in linea con la filosofia del B&B, il tutto con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ripassando a Torino ci tornerei sicuramente.

Consiglio il Rifugio Urbano al 100 %, si trova in una posizione molto centrale e Simone è simpatico, disponibile e accogliente.

Letteralmente a pochi metri dalla Mole. Camera sufficientemente ampia e pulita. Colazione con l'indispensabile. Gestore gentile e simpatico: qualche dimenticanza, ma niente di grave.

Il rifugio urbano è un posto bellissimo e suggestivo. Simone ci ha fatto sentire a casa, una bellissima esperienza!
