Location couldn't be better. Host is wonderful. Everything is as pictured on the site. Just a beautiful place to stay! Highest recommendation!

Guido is great and a very nice host. He dropped us off at our parking. He gave us many explanations about the city of Matera. And the room was clean, perfect, and well situated. Thank you for everything!

Excellent value for a terrific place. Perfect location. Spacious, comfortable room (seems like all new very good furniture) with a great coffee maker and great coffee, a wine fridge (!), and a good view of the town. Lovely terrace. Charming host Guido took lots of time to explain everything to see (and provided a way better map than the one from the tourist office) recommendations of where to eat, and went way above and beyond to help me in a couple of situations.

Wow, what a location, what a view, what a comfortable newly remodeled accommodation. It is located in the best part of the historical center, right by the trail to the Tibetan bridge, and 1 minute drive from the outskirts where you can park for free on the street (you can drive inside the historical center only until 10am, so time your arrival/departure well to drop off/pick up your luggage and leave the center on time, otherwise you will have to walk more than 10 minutes... downhill on arrival but uphill on departure... prefer a backpack over a trolley, if you can). We stayed in the top room with the terrace, overlooking the canyon. It was quiet and private. We used the shared kitchen which has everything you need (ask the host to show you how to operate the electric stove because I could not figure out the directions, my fault). The summer day was hot but the room stayed breezy and cool, we did not even turn on the AC. We woke up one hour before sunrise and hiked on the opposite side of the canyon to capture Matera with the street lights still on, and then at sunrise—best time, so much better than sunset. We are avid hikers but the trails have ZERO signs and are impossible to navigate, so unfortunately, you have to hire a guide for some serious exploring in the Murgia region—Aldo Chietera can help you, look him up online. Matera and the Murgia are amazing. If you can, add 2 nights in Polignano a Mare, the best pair, the rest of Puglia was not as memorable. Next time, we'll explore Basilicata more, with the ferrata trails and trekking.

Thank you for the welcome. Regarding the 4-person room, the accommodation was very clean, spacious, and modern. Extremely comfortable. We really liked it and slept very well. As for the 2-person room upstairs, it was smaller and noisy. Our friends couldn't sleep well because of the wind blowing through the structures. We recommend the ground floor room instead. We will return if we pass through Matera.

Exceptional welcome from the owner, delicate and cultured, who picked us up at the train station, took us into the Sassi from the most beautiful viewpoint and gave us a lot of explanations. Apartment with terrace, superb view, very well located, perfect for enjoying Matera.

Very nice host, good location, however a bit louder in the morning due to traffic noises when the window is open, very loud manhole covers on the street.

We stayed at the Madonna degli Angeli Holiday Home in Matera and had a great time! The location is good, perfect for exploring the city on foot and at the same time not too central so there is a lot of tranquility. Our room was the one with the terrace that has a spectacular view of the 'sassi' and the mountains surrounding Matera. The kitchen is shared with the other rooms but has everything you need. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

The location of the structure is excellent. The lady who welcomed me is kind and helpful. The room is beautiful and very spacious; the kitchen area is well equipped and functional.

Two dreamy days in the beautiful Madonna degli Angeli! The structure is very welcoming, clean, and in the heart of the city center. The host was extremely kind and provided us with the support needed to make our stay perfect.

Beautiful room, both the bedroom and the bathroom are spacious with high ceilings, clean facility and in a central location. Guido was very helpful and gave us various indications about Madonna degli Angeli.

Guido was very helpful and well-prepared in helping me understand the structure of Matera and its history. The rooms and the shared area are beautiful, furnished with care, everything very clean. Positioned strategically to easily reach all the different areas of Matera on foot. I will definitely come back.

It is the group of houses that is first presented to visitors coming down towards Sasso Barisano from the church of St. Augustine. A 4-level structure well furnished, with taste and practicality, using modern solutions such as the water dispenser and offering brand new bathrooms. The manager is very kind and helpful. All at a very competitive price for Matera and the surroundings.

Truly recommendable, excellent location a stone's throw from the central points of the Sassi. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Noteworthy, the friendliness and helpfulness of the manager, who promptly came to pick us up by car outside the ZTL area, taking us to the b&b, giving us advice on the best places to see (and how to get there) and on the must-see photographic spots, marking everything on the map for us. After check out, he brought us back to our car. Top!

Very clean structure, very nice and unique in the typical houses of Matera. Convenient to walk around the city through its characteristic streets. Very kind host, reserved a free parking spot for us, then accompanied us with his car to the B&B. He booked a tour with a guide for us... Giulio exceptional guide. I would highly recommend this structure.

Structure in the beautiful Sasso baresano. In a perfect position to tour the Sassi. Very well furnished. The very helpful manager made sure to take us to the car, as in the Sassi there is the ZTL and you have to park outside.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast recently renovated in the heart of the historic center of Matera (Sasso Barisano) with a spectacular view of the Murgia. Guido, the manager, was super kind and provided shuttle service from the parking lot to the property and back, also acting as a tour guide. The only downside was the lack of breakfast. However, the room was large and beautiful.

An ancient house in 'Civita' allows you to comfortably visit the whole city and wake up to the extraordinary panorama of the ravine, the stream that flows deep in a gorge, with the necropolis above. The manager, Guido, was extremely courteous and helpful. Truly an excellent choice, which I recommend for those who intend to visit Matera.

Beautiful and comfortable facility! We were welcomed by Federica, who was extremely kind and helpful during our stay, providing us with information about the city and personally accompanying us to the facility, considering that the B&B is located in a ZTL area. Highly recommended for living a unique experience and feeling part of the Sassi.

Strategically located structure, excellent value for money, helpful and attentive managers to guests' needs. The structure is located in the 'sassi', strategically positioned to visit the city, but at the same time close to the area outside the ZTL where you can park your car peacefully. After suggesting where to park, the owners accompanied us to the structure in their car. The stay in the loft room was pleasant. The room has been recently renovated with particular attention and respect for the historical significance of the place. The vaulted environment is divided into three areas: the main bedroom, the bathroom (very spacious), and a walk-in closet from which you access the loft via a spiral staircase. There is also a common kitchen available to guests in the different rooms. Highly recommended and rated full marks.

We stayed at this splendid property on July 14 and 15, Mr. Guido welcomed us magnificently giving us valuable advice, always at our disposal. We can safely say it is a fantastic property (with a beautiful terrace at our exclusive disposal).\nShort unforgettable holiday.

Really kind and helpful owner. Sasso (apartment) really beautiful and comfortable, nice bathroom, central location and excellent value for money.

The structure enjoys an enviable position: at the beginning of the pedestrian area with a breathtaking view. The premises are extremely clean and meticulously cared for. The manager Guido's attention to the guest is absolute and discreet: from the taxi service to allow the visitor's car to be parked in the permitted area, to the knowledge as a guide to face a conscious visit. The room with a private terrace is the cherry on top of an already perfect experience.

Availability of the manager very good (he indicated where to park and with his car he accompanied us to the structure), pleasant and clean room, excellent location to visit Madonna degli Angeli, good price.

Structure in the heart of the Sasso Barisano with a view on the Murgia Materana, a dive into the past. Federica, the host, has been super kind and has been able to give us valuable advice to experience and discover Matera. Trust 100%, both for the guides and the restaurants she will suggest. Highly recommended.

Very clean and well-kept environment, both the structure and the staff are very welcoming. Margherita was very kind and helpful, she gave us excellent advice and made our stay in Matera unforgettable.

We stayed three nights in the room with the (huge) terrace that every morning gave us a breathtaking view of the ravine. The location is excellent and convenient for unloading/loading luggage (according to the ZTL hours). The owner is very helpful and friendly, from our arrival he gave us an overview of the main attractions and information for the guided tour of the Sassi. We hope to return soon because it was a wonderful stay!

I can only give a full 10 to this property. The owner was extremely kind, he kept a free parking just outside the entrance of the Sasso Barisano and drove us to the property with his car. He provided us with all the necessary information to visit the city. The room was very large, brand new, the bathroom with a brand new shower. But the pearl was the terrace, it really stole my heart. Congratulations for the bed & breakfast and especially for your wonderful Matera, one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

Tutto spettacolare dalla città alla struttura e al proprietario.

Abbiamo trascorso a Matera due giorni. Guido è stato gentilissimo, ci ha anticipato il check in. La stanza è veramente bella, arredata con uno stile elegante, pulita e la posizione è ottima. Assolutamente consigliato.

Situato nella Civita tra i Sassi Barisano e Caveoso e in prossimità della strada, sistemazione e struttura davvero molto bella e pratica. Inoltre, dettaglio da non trascurare, anche se la stanza era senza aria condizionata, di notte dalla Gravina giungeva aria fresca.

La struttura è bellissima all'interno, pulita e con arredamenti moderni. La posizione è molto buona per spostarsi nei Sassi e in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiunge il centro storico. Il gestore, Guido, è stato gentilissimo e molto disponibile, soprattutto nel dare informazioni su Matera. Nel complesso mi sono trovata davvero bene!

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, gestore molto gentile, ambiente pulito e ben riscaldato. Dalla nostra camera con terrazzino con un panorama splendido.

Bellissima location immersa nei Sassi, la proprietaria molto accogliente e gentile, camera grande e pulita.

Casa arredata con gusto, in una posizione strategica. Gestore molto disponibile, ha accettato senza problemi anche il nostro cane (per noi cosa fondamentale). Se dovessi tornare a Matera saprò sicuramente a chi rivolgermi.

La struttura si trova nel cuore dei Sassi. Noi eravamo in quattro ed abbiamo alloggiato nell'appartamento col soppalco. Tutto era nuovo, letti comodi, bagno molto grande e bello, ampio spazio dove riporre abbigliamento ed altro. Comodissima la zona cucina. Anche questa tutta nuova e comodissima. Noi abbiamo preparato sia pranzi che cene senza alcun problema. La signora Miriam che ci ha accolto è stata gentilissima sia al momento del nostro arrivo, sia in precedenza per chiedere informazioni sulla struttura prima di prenotare. Lo consiglio a tutti.
