Our aparthotel is placed at Matera art city, in an area of great archaeological and architectural merit, quiet, for enjoying a stunning panorama, in the historic heart of the city nearby Sassi. "Fra I Sassi Residence" is a prestigious dwelling to conjure up the thrill of the past, a lovely, refined building, a building of the past brought into the present with unique touches guaranteeing top comfort.

Our property is the ideal location for families who want to stay in a home from home, for conferences and business travel, for a romantic getaway that makes you feel like a couple again, if you love the peace and quiet of nature, far from the bustle of the city.

From start to finish, this was a wonderful stay, and we were made to feel very welcome (2 adults and 3 children). \nCool, clean, and spacious accommodation, plentiful breakfast, and evening drinks on the terrace. \nAll topped off by being in the magical Sassi, we will be back for certain!

Very nice to be there for the second time. it will not be the last time. A very warm welcome bij the owners. very good breakfust on a beautiful balcony. from there a very nice vieuw on the sassi. Beautiful room in the Sassi, spectacular bathroom almost like an apartment. Good breakfast. Wonderful view. Before our arrival, they provided us with a series of very useful information for parking, from which we then walked a few minutes.

Charming location in the heart of the Sassi perfectly meeting expectations and what was promised on the website. Magical atmosphere in tune with the wonder of Matera. Fantastic hosts, abundant and superb breakfast: they offered us to take away what they had set aside for us and we had not consumed. Finally, in Italy, someone has a smart culture against waste!

Beautiful solution in the stones of Matera clean excellent assistance breakfast excellent with local products, only problem the cleaning came to do them at lunchtime when we were in the room and we had to refuse the intervention. For the rest all excellent.

Just one word... WONDERFUL! Highly recommended, you are in the middle of the rocks, the breakfast offers a beautiful view, and the rooms in Matera style make you feel like in a small crib. Highly recommended!

Structure in a strategic position in the Sasso Barisano. The Deluxe suite is charming, very friendly and helpful staff overall. High-level breakfast if we talk about a B&B. The only flaw, if we want to find one, is the parking space. Obviously, in the center of the 'sassi', you cannot arrive by car, but the structure has an agreement with a parking lot 10 minutes away on foot. For the rest, all Top.

Incantevole week. Immersi nella storia con tutti i confort possibili per rendere il soggiorno "una favola". Personale ultra cortese ed attento ad ogni richiesta. Il titolare, il Sig. Domenico, gentilissimo e preciso e che ringrazio ancora per l'attenzione avuta per il mio compleanno. Location TOP per la raggiungibilità, bellezza estetica, pulizia, storia che trasuda da ogni centimetro e vicinanza ai luoghi di maggior attrazione in Matera. Davvero ho da esprimere solo gratitudine ed apprezzamento per tutto. Noi ritorneremo sicuramente e consiglio a tutti di raggiungere questo B&B. Grandi e grazie ancora.

Abbiamo pernottato tre notti in questa bellissima struttura nel pieno centro di Matera, con vista sullo splendido scenario dei sassi. La nostra camera in particolare aveva una incantevole vista sul Duomo. Esperienza fantastica, location meravigliosa, colazione ottima con prodotti locali di prima qualità, personale altamente qualificato e cortese eccellente come la struttura stessa. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente sia in questo splendido residence che in questa meravigliosa città.

Posizione strategica, la camera dotata di vasca da bagno con musica è stata una gran sorpresa per mia figlia. Meravigliosa terrazza con vista sui sassi. Ottimo il servizio per il parcheggio dell'auto. Preziosi i consigli del gestore. Consigliatissimo.

Quando volano le rondini non servono parole... pieno infatti di rondini il cielo sopra di noi e del raro falco grillaio, i colori e l'atmosfera che si respira tra i sassi, la genuina e spontanea gentilezza della gente di Lucania: la cultura locale appassionata di Domenico, la disponibilità di Emma, la simpatia e la preparazione di Antonio, il coinvolgimento rurale di Nicola di Rabatana, la disponibilità del fabbro Antonio. Il vento che ha reso la campagna materana ancora più bella, le nuvole che hanno rivestito come un manto chiese, sassi e storia e l'ondulato silenzio della memoria agreste della povera gente ora risorta - ragione - a patrimonio del mondo intero. Grazie a Domenico alla sua notevole passione che ci ha condotto in una regione veramente fantastica. Complimenti.
