Our B&B is a stone's throw from the sea in an area of great archaeological and architectural merit, in the heart of the city. "Melo" is a lovely, refined building.
Surroundings
Travellers staying with us will be able to stroll around the lights and colours of the shopping streets, enjoy and buy local artisan products, take in countless cultural events and unique exhibitions, exploring museums and exhibition areas, stroll in the quiet, lush gardens and beautiful landscapes.

Last but not least, remember that our strategic location makes us perfect for shopping in our city's Christmas market, the nearby metro stations are perfect if you need to get around the city (Metro Quintino Sella, Metro Bari Centrale...), perfect for transfers to the nearby railway station 'Stazione Bari Centrale'.

Soundproofing was not the best, I heard the man in the next room snoring, and the street was also noisy. Everything else is okay, including the very kind host who waited for us until almost midnight.

Absolutely loved our stay at Melo Accommodations in Bari! The street has a particular charm if you like retro buildings, a great bakery, and nice little shops around. Super well located as a central point. Piero and his wife were lovely and very helpful:) The room was comfortable and we enjoyed having a little balcony with a table set. Recommended.

Friendly and responsive owner. Good bedroom size. Small refrigerator with a small treat provided. Easy to visit the city center and 5 mins walk from the train station. Quiet and clean room.

Buongiorno. If you need to go to Bari, I really recommend you to go to the Melo B&B. I stayed there for a while and I was totally satisfied. I got 2 very big rooms for 50 €, they are clean and quiet. Also Alessandro, the owner will help you in all situations, he is a very nice guy. The location is optimal and the price is unbeatable. For me it is for sure a 10 out of 10. Ciao, Magnus.

A very well located establishment, ideal for visiting. No breakfast, but a coffee machine is available, with everything necessary nearby. The owners give good advice and respond to requests, they are very welcoming and make sure you feel at home.

Close to the train station and basically nothing to complain about. The Centro Storico is within walking distance, as well as the shops. The landlady is very friendly and uncomplicated.

The structure is very close to the station and the university, but the area, in the evening, is quite desolate, giving the impression that it is also unsafe. The managers are very friendly.

Very nice and well-maintained structure. The managers are really kind and helpful people. Very convenient for those who need to stay close to the station, but still quite close to Old Bari.

Clean room, very kind and helpful management (although breakfast was not included, it was possible to use the coffee machine and some snacks), perfect location of the accommodation to reach Old Bari and Bari Central Station. We were also recommended some nearby places for every need. Very satisfied with our stay!

Strategic location not far from the seafront, the Petruzzelli Theater and above all, you can easily reach the renowned Old Bari on foot. Comfortable, spacious rooms with all the necessary amenities for a stay in Bari. Very kind, helpful, and friendly managers. For those arriving by car in Bari, the New Garage Roma, a car park, is very convenient and close by to park their vehicle because it is located on the same street.

I booked a double room with a balcony. The Melo Accommodations is well maintained and clean, the managers are helpful and friendly. The room is equipped with all the comforts and the bathroom is adequate (space and services) and clean. The little balcony is delightful. The location is really strategic, the neighborhood is quiet. When I return to Bari, I will know where to go.

Travel with family (two small children). The Melo Accommodations is in a great location, with all services nearby, very close to the train station and also to the old town of Bari (within walking distance). The room is spacious, very clean. The presence of a fridge inside the room and the possibility to use the coffee/tea machine are much appreciated. The managers are courteous and helpful, attentive to the needs of the customers, ready to give advice on what to see in the city and surroundings. We had a great time.

We had a really good time at Melo Accommodations. The owners are fantastic people and also provided us with very useful tips on the best places to try typical Apulian specialties in Bari and surroundings. The accommodation is very comfortable and bright, and the location is strategic both for visiting the city and for taking train excursions (and reaching the airport) from the central station, which is very close.

Accoglienza molto cordiale e gentile. Abbiamo occupato un ampio bilocale con un ampio bagno. Silenzioso, con letto molto comodo. Tutto ha funzionato a dovere. Si concede poco all'estetica anche se l'arredamento è funzionale e gradevole; nel complesso l'esperienza è del tutto positiva. La prima colazione è autogestita ed il buffet è sempre a disposizione: c'è una macchina del caffè con le cialde, bollitore, bustine di tè, biscotti, brioschine varie confezionate, yogurt. Peraltro nell'appartamento, munito per l'estate di condizionatore in ogni camera, vi è anche un comodissimo frigorifero con in dotazione dell'acqua confezionata offerta dalla struttura. Negozi e ristoranti a portata di mano: peraltro la struttura dà ottimi suggerimenti a chi meglio rivolgersi. Bari vecchia a 10 minuti, Stazione Ferroviaria a 5 minuti, Lungomare a 5 minuti. Tutto a piedi.

Posizione strategica in pieno centro vicino ad un garage privato dove lasciare l’auto a circa Euro 25,00 al giorno. Proprietari carinissimi, pulizia perfetta, colazione fai da te, palazzo tranquillo. Molto carino il tutto.

Ottimo B&B nel centro di Bari vicinissimo alla stazione, teatro Petruzzelli, lungomare, bari vecchia. Ci ritornerò. Molto pulito e belle camere. La colazione non molto ricca, è da migliorare.

Sono ritornata molto volentieri nella struttura sia per la cordialità dei proprietari che per la pulizia dei locali. La posizione è ottima per muoversi con facilità nella città ed il palazzo è silenzioso.

Ho soggiornato una notte in un comodo monolocale del circuito “Melo” situato in una zona vicinissima al centro e molto servita. Zona shopping (corso Cavour e via sparano) a pochi isolati dal B&B. Il B&B si presenta in ottime condizioni. Ristrutturato con volte a botte. Dotato di ogni confort: Frigorifero, cucina, forno a microonde, tv, Phon, riscaldamento.. Buona la colazione. Ottima la disponibilità e la gentilezza del proprietario. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci ritornerò. B&B CONSIGLIATO.

Veramente positivo e di grande disponibilità'. Bari è una città fantasticamente bella e con intrecci di culture assolutamente da vedere. Noi abbiamo lavorato al teatro Petruzzelli, che rispecchia pienamente la cultura e la storia di una BAri che viene anche rappresentata dall'attenzione e dalla pulizia del B&B Melo. Se avete un week-end buono andateci, non ve ne pentirete.. una città di respiro internazionale.. Aire de Mar Latin Trio.

Gestori gentili e disponibili. Posizione della struttura ottima per visitare la città e i dintorni (essendo vicina alla stazione ferroviaria). Colazione da B&B ben presentata e abbastanza per gli Italiani. La struttura è molto bella ed in condominio signorile. Consigliato!

Ottima struttura e accoglienza perfetta da parte dei gestori. Camere curate e molto pulite. Qualche problema con il getto della doccia per alcune camere al terzo piano. Comunque consigliatissimo per un piacevole soggiorno a Bari.

Vicinissimo alla stazione centrale, alla ferrovia bari Nord e ai capolinea degli autobus. La zona è ricca di negozi e posti per mangiare. Il gestore è molto gentile. Le camere sono pulite e non mancano di nulla. Lo consiglio vivamente.
