Our B&B is placed at Sulmona art and culture location, rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural merit, in a location with a spectacular view, in the historic heart of the city. "La Dimora" is a prestigious dwelling to conjure up the thrill of the past, a residence with unique, original style.
Surroundings
Our location and the surrounding area offer our guests a chance to for shopping be amazed by the work of our artisans, explore tradition and culture along your own delicious fine food and wine trail, explore cultural events and exhibitions, wander amid the scents and sounds of the area's many gardens.
Nearby our guests will find examples of our heritage and various tourist attractions sports and fitness centres for working out on holiday, ski resorts for winter sports fans. Remember that just only 440 m away there is the "Cattedrale".

Our property is the perfect place all families on the move will feel right at home here, for conferences and business travel, for a romantic holiday in a quiet, reserved setting, if you love the peace and quiet of nature, far from the bustle of the city.

If you want to feel like you are back in old Italy, this is for you. The building is beautiful, and you will be right in the heart of town. Steps away from the most beautiful historic monuments, you can eat, shop, or tour all the incredible buildings. We went skiing at Alto Sangro, and this was the perfect location. Also, we are from America and did not realize that you cannot drive into the center of town. If you have a car, make sure you check on parking options. Oscar, the wonderful host, walked us down to the location of our car to see if it was OK. It was not, so he directed us to a place where we could park without getting into trouble. Fantastic hospitality!

All great. Oscar's reception and attention was professional and at the same time very friendly and warm. The beds were comfortable, there is a large bathroom where everything works. Great location in the historic area.

My stay at La Dimora was great! Oscar went out of his way to make sure I had everything that I needed. He helped me rent a car, gave restaurant recommendations, and was very accommodating. I also enjoyed talking to him and his mother at breakfast! The location and the rooms are fantastic. I hope to be back soon! Grazie mille!

Oscar and his lovely mother are excellent hosts! We felt very welcomed and they both went the extra mile to make us feel special. The rooms are lovely, comfortable beds and many amenities. We hope to return to Sulmona in the near future and we will definitely stay at La Dimora again! Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at La Dimora. Oscar's warmth made us feel very welcomed. He gave us really good advices on activities to do and restaurants to try. We were lucky enough to have the new bedroom, which was large, with a cute balcony and a view on the mountains. Breakfast was very good with everything we needed. I hope we go back to Sulmona one day and if we do, we will definitely go back to La Dimora. See you again, Oscar!

We could not say enough about this Bed and Breakfast. Its location is perfect if you are looking to be right in the centre of one of the most beautiful cities in the Abruzzo region, Sulmona. Owner, Oscar and his mother, Maria were absolutely lovely to be around. I truly felt like I was at home. Their genuine hospitality and care for their guests is remarkable. We are so grateful that they were able to change rooms for my mother when we arrived, to accommodate her needs (even though we had already booked another room but when we arrived we had not realized the stairs would be an issue for my mother). The variety at breakfast, cleanliness and overall attention to detail are all what make La Dimora an absolute must for your stay. Oscar made sure we were happy, and we absolutely were!

Ciao, we stayed one night. The room was recently updated and was terrific. Comfortable bed. Clean and nice bathroom with firm hot water. Location cannot be surpassed. Right on Main Street and we easily found on street parking nearby. Sulmona is beautiful town with a lot of historical churches and a Roman aqueduct. A great base to see Scanno and Abruzzi region.

Very beautiful and comfortable room. The only problem was the impossibility of sleeping due to the noise, as the room is very central and close to the "Movida" of Sulmona. The manager had left the skylight with a small opening, but it was impossible to close it because it required a key. The noise was really unbearable, with a lot of noise until 5 in the morning. Then, from 5:45 to 6:00, street cleaning started until around 8:00. So you can imagine, a real shame because the room is really comfortable (except for this mishap) and Sulmona is still a town worth seeing.

Beautiful structure, clean and well-kept, in the heart of the historic center. Very spacious room (even for 4 people) with a view of the cathedral. Impeccable cleanliness and helpful, friendly, and present manager.

Tutto perfetto siamo stati molto bene camera spaziosa e pulitissima unico neo la colazione ma non per colpa del gestore servita in una bella stanza peccato che appena svegli devi sopportare e condividere con gente poco educata.

Oscar e la sua mamma sono due persone splendide e disponibili. L'accoglienza nella struttura è stata delle migliori, così come il nostro soggiorno. Consiglio e raccomando questo B&B anche per la centralissima posizione.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questa struttura nuova, pulita ed in pieno centro: siamo stati accolti dal gentilissimo proprietario, ragazzo giovane e molto disponibile, che non ci ha fatto mancare nulla. Sulmona, inoltre, è una bellissima cittadina e la location in pieno centro ci ha permesso di visitarla comodamente. Soggiorno perfetto direi!

Sono stata a Sulmona per incontrare degli amici e ho soggiornato alla Dimora consiglio questo B&B pulizia e accoglienza e colazione e disponibilità del titolare sono ottimi se ritornerò a Sulmona ci ritornerò.

La Dimora ha una posizione davvero centrale. È situata sul corso Ovidio di Sulmona, dove c'è la zona pedonale ricca di negozi. La camera Sofia, dove ho alloggiato per il weekend, era un mix di semplicità, cura dei dettagli e un tuffo nel passato. Alcuni dei mobili sono antichi, ovviamente ristrutturati La camera era dotata di tutti i comfort, perfino shampoo e bagnoschiuma in doccia. La colazione all'italiana era abbondante con alcuni dei prodotti del territorio abruzzese Il proprietario disponibile, mi ha dato tutte le dritte sulla città: cosa vedere e dove mangiare.

Ci siamo trovati molti bene, il gestore è stato molto gentile e la colazione ci ha lasciati soddisfatti. Il posto è centralmente situato e facilmente raggiungibile anche parcheggiando fuori dal centro.

Ottima struttura ubicata nel centro storico di Sulmona, camere accoglienti, pulite e fornite di ogni confort, gestione specializzata nell'ospitalità e nel dare tutte le informazioni che necessitano per il soggiorno.
